Minnie's POV
"Babe! Come here! Do you think these jeans look good on me?" a melodic voice called.
Putting my phone in my pocket before getting up from the rather uncomfortable bench I was sitting on, I entered the changing room to see what all the fuss was about.
"Miyeon, honey, you know I think you look good in everything— Oh wow, yeah, you definitely look good in those..." I let my speech slowly fade as I enjoyed the sight in front of me.
Who wouldn't enjoy seeing the love of their life like this? I mean, seeing your angelic girlfriend in nothing but a sports bra and jeans that definitely fit her figure is not the worst thing in the world.
"Yah, stop being such a pervert, Min! We're in public!"
Moving right behind her, I hooked my fingers through her belt loops before resting my chin on her shoulder, tilting my head enough so our eyes could meet.
"Yeon, I'm not being a pervert, I'm being honest. Besides, you basically told me to check you out, and that's what I did. Also, is a changing room really considered a public place? Yes, it's in a public establishment, but it's made especially for privacy, no?" I challenged with the most annoying smirk I could muster.
I met her gaze through the mirror, and she was very clearly glaring. However, the small smile on her lips that she was trying to hold back from outright grinning told me that I wasn't in any sort of danger. Even more so, when she turned around and held my waist, the small smile showing much more.
"Enough with the silly technicalities, Minnie. Listen, you leave while I try on and pay for the rest of my stuff. You can wander the shops, maybe buy a little something to make me feel even more lucky than I already am, and we'll see how lucky you get tonight after our date, alright?" she murmured before pressing a quick kiss onto my lips, removing my hands from their hold and turning back around as she continued to change.
"Y-Yes ma'am— I mean Miyeon!" I stuttered, quickly rushing out of the room, accidentally hitting my elbow on the doorframe. "Fuck!"
If I wasn't embarrassed enough, the laughs I heard from the room I had previously been in only caused my face to get even more red. Pull yourself together, Nicha!
Sighing as I tried to dismiss the warm crimson hue on my cheeks, I began to do as she had asked and wandered the store. I'm very glad that we have such a healthy relationship. Especially considering the physically, emotionally, and mentally draining job we have. Luckily, our boss understands what we need to sustain such a relationship and provides us with the time to let us be able to just genuinely be with one another. Our relationship is so healthy because we have great communication. We are able to communicate boundaries, new things we may want to try, our struggles, and our greatest successes.
Passing by jewelry store, I smiled and held the star pendant that Miyeon had custom-made for our matching necklaces. She had gifted them on our first official one year anniversary, which was nearly three years ago as our fourth anniversary is coming up in a few weeks. I remember that on our second anniversary, we had sworn that no matter who decided to propose, this shop would be where we got our engagement rings. While I may be ready to get on one knee for her any day, I think I'll save the special occasion for a more thought-out day.
Continuing on, I found myself in front of the flower shop I had visited before my second date with Miyeon.
Flashback
I smiled when the intoxicating floral smell hit me, gently closing the door behind me before looking around. There are so many to choose from. How can I choose just one?
