Well, we almost watched Mystic get stopped on by a Psycho, so there's that heads up.

.

I woke to Mystic laying on my back, gently needing me with her paws.

I could hear the sound of rushing wind, the kind you would usually hear in a blizzard.

Mystic walked off me as I pushed myself up to a sitting position and looked around. I must've blacked out after I fell.

The inside of the escape pod looked well enough except for the missing door and cold air creeping in.

With how cold it was getting now was probably a good time to change into whatever else I had in my bag.

So I reached over to my backpack, which was lying close to me.

As I looked through it, Mystic sat next to me, purring as she rubbed her head against me. She had a lovely coat of fur, but she must have been getting cold as well.

I thought as I pulled out my helmet and the bag of clothes and began to unpack it.

I had two nightgowns, three thigh-high socks, and other underwear-basted clothing.

I also had an extra pair of black men's jeans and a black turtleneck, and what looked like a dress that I wore once and had proudly thrown in the bag to forget, and to my surprise, a red track jacket with lime green flanks and a pair of red gloves.

"Huh," I was wondering what I did with it. This track jacket was where I got the inspiration for my helmet.

I separated the black turtleneck along with the jacket and gloves from the clothes pile I had made and continued my search.

The only thing left in the bag was the bow I had on earlier and a face mask that could cover pretty much my entire head.

I took the mask and tossed it in with the other clothes I was going to put on. After that, I took off my tank top and replaced it with the turtleneck.

The cold wind nipped at my back, sending a shiver down my spine.

The turtleneck wasn't that thick, but it was a lot better than that thin tank top.

leaving out the jacket, gloves, and mask, I folded everything else up nicely and put it all back in the bag.

With clothes now taking care of my next priority was food and getting warm again, so before I put the clothes bag away, I reached into my backpack to get the blanket I had seen.

As I took it out, I was pleasantly surprised to find an old pair of black scuffed-up boots and a semi-small black bag.

I took them out, placing them next to my helmet and other clothing items.

I hadn't thought about what I was going to do about footwear, so I was happy I wouldn't need to.

After that, I rapped Mystic and I up in the blanket and started going through the rest of my backpack.

I was happy to find my lunch box was still in there along with some cat food, so I took care of Mystic first, also giving her some water in the process.

Then I took care of myself, opening my lunch box to some warm soup and tasty bread rolls.

As we dug in, I found myself staring at the hole where the door used to be, wondering what happened.
