Gabe's POV
it's been three weeks since our mom and dad passed away it's been a struggle.
All of us in grade school have gone back to school we took about 2 1/2 weeks off but Jose made us go back. Rodrigo wasn't able to miss any time at college but he still lives at home.
It's been hard adjusting to everything. Lily has been moping around, Jay and Val have been rebelling a lot and Jose has let a lot slide that my parents would have a whooped their asses for but I think Jose is coming to his wits end with them, Alex has been ok he has been rebelling a little but mostly just moping around my older brothers have been making things a lot easier for us.
I drive my younger siblings to school every day I first drop off my little sister at elementary school and then we head off to the high school I only have four classes so I pick up Lily after my last class and then come back to the high school to pick up the rest of my siblings. And that's exactly what we're doing today.
I'm waiting in the car with Lili after school waiting for my younger siblings to get out. When they start heading out to my car I realize jay isn't there. He's been bunking class a lot since mom and dad passed but it needs to stop.
They all get in the car except jay.
"Where's jay?" I ask
"I dont know he wasn't in third or sixth period" Alex says
"Great"
"How about you Val you know where he is?"
"Nope"
Valentina's POV
Of course I know where he is he's my twin but there's no way in hell I'm snitching
" Jose is finna be pissed, he has already told Jay so many times to stop playing hookie and Jay isn't here which is even worse for him." Gabe says
Jay is definitely finna be in trouble for this one especially since he's not coming home and 'no one' knows except me but no one knows I know which it's going to stay that way
Gabe calls Jose on the car speaker
"Hey Jose"
"Hey kiddo what's up"
"Jay hasn't been in any of his classes and he didn't come out of school"
"Fuck, can one of you check his location"
He turned his location off for everyone except me so they don't know where he at but I know for safety and what not I still have his location
"Mine says his location is off"Alex says
"Same" I add
"God damn it, come straight home we will figure out then" Jose says
We hang up and head home.
Once we get there all my older siblings are stressing tf out while I'm not cause I know he is with his friends and later they finna go to a party
My brothers fr stressing over nothing
Jose's POV
Right after Gabe called me the school called me telling me jay was absent from all his classes except first period
I'm stressed and worried
Jay is in a lot of trouble for this one he knows not to go anywhere without telling one of us and he's been bunking classes it has to end I know he's been struggling with our parents passing but this needs to stop
He can't be doing all of this
I've called everybody I know to find out where he is I've called his friends and none of his friends know where he is or they do and just won't tell me.
