"Sunghoon, in serious matter, you should move on." Heeseung looks at him, "I know we are all waiting for him but it is not right. It is not fair for you that you are caged in that memories. You have forgotten to live your own life."
"I know hyung." Sunghoon look at him, "But he is my life. How can i live when he isn't there? And What if... what if something happened to him and was unable to reach. What if something... to him... and was unable?" Sunghoon's voice trembles.
"You can't live like this thinking about those what ifs." Heeseung sighs too. Jay just remains silence.
"I know but I won't move on until I see him myself or talk to him once."
"What if he won't come back ever?"
"I will still wait until he comes back."
"Sungh-"
"Enough hyung. I am leaving." Sunghoon stands and walks ahead.
"And hyung," Sunghoon turns back, "Why didn't he contacted me? Or why did he ghost me? That isn't important for me. Not at all. He must have his own reasons. What matters is his wellness."
"And if we meet again, then I can promise I won't ask anything to him. I can understand him in every way. The pain I went for over a year? That's nothing. As long as we meet again, we can resolve everything. And if he don't want me back, I will try my best to win him back again and again."
Sunghoon drives off towards his apartment.
He parks and walks towards elevator. He presses his floor number and leans back, sighing long, his head down, tired of everything.
He raises his head back when the elevator door dings. And he freezes looking at the person standing infront of him.
His heart starts racing again as he sees the very very familiar person standing right infront of him.
'Am I seeing things?' Was the first thing running across Sunghoon's mind.
"...J-Jake?" Sunghoon lets out a small voice when the figure infront of him looks up. His eyes widening.
Jake gets out of his trance and runs away from there as Sunghoon follows after him.
"JAKE! YAHH SHIM JAKE!! DON'T RUNNN!!! YAHHHHHHHHHHH." Sunghoon yells as Jake runs faster.
"YAHHHH!!" Sunghoon runs faster as Jake trips and falls down.
"Yahhhh, you are driving me insane!!!" Sunghoon kneels to get him up, "Are you okay? Why do you have to run? Look you fell down and got hurt. why do you even have to run? Is it paining? Are you okay? Should we go to medical?" Sunghoon looks at Jake's hand as his face frowns in worry.
"Are you hurt?" Sunghoon helps him up.
"N-no." Jake looks away.
"Are you sure you are okay?"
"U-umm." Jake nods.
"How a-"
"Jake!" Sunghoon gets cut off.
"What are you doing here? I asked you to wait for me at our apartment."
'Our apartment?' Sunghoon takes a step back.
"U-hh, I tripped and he helped me." Jake looks at Sunghoon.
"Ohh. Are you hurt somewhere?"
"No, I am fine."
"Hello! Do you live here? We are new here. I am Nicholas." Nicholas offers Sunghoon his hand.
"O-ohh yes... Yes, I live here in 523 and I am Park Sunghoon." Sunghoon shakes his hand.
"We are 525. Right infront of yours."
"Ohh." Sunghoon nods.
"Hello! I am Park Sunghoon." Sunghoon smiles as he offers Jake his hand.
"O-ohh, I am S-shim J-jake." Jake stutters as he takes his hand.
"Nice to meet you... again." Sunghoon holds his hand tighter.
"Y-yes. Same." Jake nods.
"Let's get along well since we are neighbours."
"Yes sure."
"We are having housewarming party this weekend, you can join us if you are free." Nicholas says as Jake freezes at the statement.
Sunghoon looks at Jake who shakes his head slightly at him, "Yes sure. I would love to. I'll be there."
"Ohh that'll be great."
"Yeah... it'll be great."
