7 - plan

Luffy's POV

( two days later - timeskip )

Walking in the kitchen, I immediately felt my mouth drool from the smell of Sanji's cooking.

"So hungryyy, give me foooooooood!"
I whined.

I heard Sanji grunt in annoyance before responding.

"Shitty captain, just be patient like everybody else!"

I pouted.

"Meanie."

Walking to the dinner table, I let my head rest on my arms. My eyes darted to the kitchen window, showing a certain tangerine - colored woman.
Sitting in a beach chair on the deck.

I smiled as I admired her prettiness.

Too perfect.

While admiring her, I see her frown, putting the newspaper down next to her with a sigh.

Oh no, was she upset??

I didn't like seeing Nami upset, it made me upset. And I wanted to see that beautiful smile on her face that I fell in love with.
Then I remembered how the sky was cloudy today. Even if it was hot outside still, the cloudy arena could make everyone sad if we let it.
( me personally, I love cloudy days like that <33 )

What could I do to make her feel better??!

In deep thought, I knitted my eyebrows together, my hand on my chin.

"You alright, Luffy?"
Sanji asked, whisking up something in a bowl.

Taking myself out of my thoughts, I sighed, looking at my blonde buddy.

"It's just, Nami looks so sad, and I'm trying to figure out a way to make her feel better."
I murmured, resting my head on my arms again, groaning.

I watched as Sanji looked towards Nami in the window before looking at me again, and sighing.

"How about you spend time together? She probably just feels distant from you, I mean it has been a couple of days since you guys did, anything together really."

Sanji shrugged, pouring the mixture into the frying pan on the hot stove.

"Right! Like a-a-a like a date, a date!"
I exclaimed, a little too loudly.

"Shut up, moron! She's just outside the door!"
Sanji scolded, shaking his head before sighing again.
"But yeah, you're right, some type of date a good idea, but you'd have to wait until like later, the weather would stay like this for a little bit, at least that's what Nami - San said."

"PICNIC!"
I yelled in excitement.

"Shut up, shithead!"
Sanji scolded me again, kicking me on the head.

"Ow, ow, ow, ok ok, I'll be more quietttttt."
I whined, my lips starting to pout again.

"Hey, Nami."
I called, walking up to my love.

She immediately looked my way with that beautiful smile.

"Yeah?"

"Later, you said that the sky should clear right?"
I asked, crossing my fingers behind my back.

"Yeah, why?"

"Uhm, do you want to take a walk up that hill with me? I think it'd be fun!"
I enthusiastically said, a little blush on my cheeks, showing my signature grin.

"Yeah, sure, sounds nice, Luffy."
She then got up from the chair, pecking me on the lips to my surprise.
I saw her blush madly before changing the subject.

"U-Uhm, breakfast is probably ready, come on."
She announced, taking my hand in hers, and dragging me towards the kitchen.

I smiled as she continued to drag to our seats, which were next to each other.

I'm gonna marry this woman.
