SCARLET AND VINCE'S Eyes widened in fear as Roman stood at the doorway with his arms crossed. Ever since Scarlet was a little girl Roman was overprotective over Scarlet. Vince grabbed his shirt, putting it on while Roman kept his glare on his eldest niece.

"After dinner, we're gonna have a talk, okay?" Roman pointed at Scarlet, raising a brow.

Scarlet nodded, getting off the bed with a small frown "Yes, Uncle Roman.."

Roman moved out of the way, letting Scarlet go get a plate of food. Vince was about to follow, but Roman stopped him.

"If you hurt a hair on her goddamn head, I'll break your face. Understand?" Roman threatened, looking over to Scarlet then back to Vince.

Vince's eyes widened in fear, looking over to Scarlet "Um, y-yes, sir."

Indigo, Aileen, and Scarlet ate their spaghetti in silence. Roman and Vince joined soon after.

"2 Woodsboro seniors were found dead in their home last night. Their names are yet to be rel-" Indigo turned off the tv, looking over to Scarlet.

Scarlet fiddled with her fingers, feeling a lump in her throat. She couldn't believe this was happening again. Aileen placed her fork down on her plate of spaghetti, placing her hand on Scarlet's.

"Give her some space." Roman sat next to Scarlet, rubbing her back.

Scarlet hyperventilated, grabbing Roman's wrist. Roman kissed her head, rubbing her back.

"I got you, you're safe. You're safe, Peach." Roman cooed, trying to keep Scarlet calm.

Scarlet's eyes looked at Roman, placing her hand on her heart.

"He's not gonna get you, Peach. He's not gonna get you. I promise, I will always protect you." Roman mumbled, kissing her head, feeling her heart slow down.

Scarlet rested her head on Roman's chest, sniffling. Aileen and Indigo looked at each other then to Vince. Vince sat next to Scarlet, looking at Roman.

"I got this, Mr. Roberts." Vince gave Roman a half smile, holding Scarlet's hand.

Roman kissed Scarlet's head, taking his dinner to his office. Aileen sighed, shaking her head.

"School's gonna be a nightmare on Monday." Indigo frowned, shaking her head.

"Agreed." Scarlet bit the inside of her cheek, sniffling.

Aileen sat back down, looking at Scarlet "You are Sidney Prescott's daughter. You're strong."

Vince leaned over, planting a kiss on Scarlet's cheek "That's what I told her."

Indigo and Aileen looked at each other then to Scarlet and Vince "Are you two dating?"

Scarlet chuckled, looking over to the two girls "We just kissed."

Vince blushed, looking at Scarlet then the other girls "A little bit."

Indigo and Aileen giggled, tilting their heads. How adorable.

2 DAYS LATER

Scarlet ate her sandwich while the group conversed about the murders over the weekend. Why is this happening again?

"Hey, Rose, didn't you used to date Tina?" Scarlet questioned, tilting her head.

Rosemary tilted her head, furrowing her brows "Yeah, for like two seconds."

"Before she dumped her for Aaron." Aileen smirked, sipping her water.

Indigo's smile dropped, looking over to Rosemary "I thought you dumped her for me."

"I did, she's full of shit." Rosemary looked over to Indigo, shaking her head.

Frederick came over, wrapping his arm around Scarlet "Hey, friend. Can I borrow your English homework?"

Scarlet shoved his hand off her shoulder, looking over to him "Go bug someone else."

"Come on, Scarlet." Frederick pouted, tilting his head at her.

Vince looked over, clasping his hands together "Hey, Uglier Freddy Krueger she said to go bug someone else."

"Sorry was I talking to you?" Frederick looked over to Vince.

"I don't fucking care who you're fucking talking to. Don't fucking talk to her." Vince stood up just as Frederick did.

Indigo, Scarlet, and Aileen all shared worried looks. They knew Vince had a temper.

"Oh, really, loser? You're gonna be chivalrous to the daughter of the woman who killed your uncle? That's adorable." Frederick taunted, looking at Vince then Scarlet.

"Go get your dad." Scarlet told Indigo, looking over to Indigo then back to Vince and Frederick.

Indigo and Rosemary ran off to get Dewey. Scarlet and Aileen got in between the two boys. Why now?

"V, put the knife away." Scarlet cupped Vince's face, stroking his cheeks.

Vince glared at Frederick, closing his pocket knife, putting it in his pocket. Aileen sighed, shaking her head.

"Hey, hey, what's going on?" Dewey rushed over, looking between Frederick and Vince.

"Frederick was hitting on Scar. I just wanted to protect her." Vince told Dewey, frowning knowing his mother was gonna kick his ass when she found out.

Dewey rubbed his face, sighing "You all have to go down to the station to be questioned. I'm sorry."

"I'll follow behind you, Uncle Dewey." Scarlet kissed Dewey's cheek then walked to her car getting in with Indigo and Aileen.

"I think Vince might be a suspect. Big one." Aileen looked over to Scarlet, buckling her seat belt.

Scarlet sighed, deeply, following behind Dewey to the police station. Could this week get any worse?
