Amara Bishop had been at Camp Half-Blood for three years and the only things she had to show for her time there were three clay beads around her neck and an odd friendship with Annabeth Chase.
They hadn't always gotten along. In the beginning there were plenty of arguments about how self-righteous Annabeth was or how phlegmatic Amara was, to which Amara said was proof against Annabeth because the girl would never just use normal words. Then one day an Ares kid decided to pick a fight with both of them at the same time and the two hadn't separated since.
Ever since Annabeth heard the prophecy two years ago, she'd taken to stalking new campers until they were claimed or eventually disappointed her so much there was no way they could be the one she was waiting for. And ever since Amara had become best friends with Annabeth, she'd become her woman on the inside, watching unclaimed demigods in Hermes's cabin until Annabeth inevitably gave up again. It was nothing short of weird, but she put up with Amara's weird quirks so she figured she'd do the same for Annabeth.
That was how she found herself spying on Percy Jackson in cabin eleven and befriending the son of Poseidon on a quest to the underworld.

notes I plan to follow the book plot more than the show, but I think we can all agree that Walker Scobell plays a fantastic Percy Jackson. I think all the actors have done well with the script they've been given so appearances will probably vary from book to show description for different characters.
I'm also brand new to PJO so I'm sure I'll make some mistakes as I go. Please let me know if anything's glaringly wrong so I can fix it!
