The cabin was more rundown than I had expected.

Moss grew on the walls, grass grew in the guttering, and shutters were hanging on by a thread. It had a screened-in porch that had hardly any screens left, and some of the windows were smashed and some wood was put up to close them up.

It looked like it had been in an old western shoot-out—and lost...

I'd left my bike halfway up the track, once the cabin came into view, I pushed it into some bushes and crept the rest of the way down. As to not give myself away entirely, I'd rolled down the track, so there was no rumble to give me away.

I might be alright with walking into a trap, but I wanted to make it to the trap first.

I stayed low and pressed myself against the wall, under one of the few window's that weren't smashed in. Pulling one of my guns, I poked my head up slightly in an attempt to get a view of what might be happening inside.

Nothing but darkness—of course, why would it be easy...

A low rumble sounded off in the distance, I glanced at the sky noticing the storm clouds for the first time. I narrowed my eyes at them, if that storm moved any faster, my light would be gone before I even had it. Knowing I had even less time to asses my situation, forced me to move without taking time to think things through.

Would I have left? No, of course not.

Would I have liked a little more time to figure out how I was going to get inside without kicking in the front door and possibly getting shot? Yes, yes I fucking would.

Peeking over the windowsill once more, I sighed. This was a setup. There was no chance of me getting inside without something happening, and sitting outside wasn't going to change that.

It looks like I'm kickin' in the door...

I crept around towards the only door that led into the cabin. As soon as I stepped onto the porch it groaned loudly, giving away my position to anyone that might be inside. I crouched, waiting for the bullets to fly through the walls, but when nothing happened, I slowly stood and made my way inside.

The door creaked as it swung open, my gun went through first, then a match was struck and a cigarette lit, the light from the flame flickered, showing me the scared face of a man.

"Took you long enough." The cocky male voice spoke from the shadows as he shook the flame out. "I thought you were going to play in the dirt for the rest of the day, Little Wolf."

I glared, leveling the fucker with my gun, "You are?"

"Oh come on, I know you've been told about me." He said, tipping his head. "Some little birds sang you a lovely song."
