It had been half an hour since Shruti went down, Amrita was sure that in no time someone would be taking her down, the place where the wedding was taking place, for her that place was a disaster that would turn her life upside down.
A signal of someone coming was heard, Amrita called out 'Come inside' as soon as the person who had come entered the room. The door opened, Shaurya went into the room, followed by Shruti, Chhaya ji and Damini ji.
As soon as Amrita got up from the bed, Shaurya stood in front of her. "You look beautiful, Amaru." Shaurya caresses her face and gives a kiss on her forehead. He could not believe that he was marrying off his younger sister whom he loved the most.
When she was born, he was the first one to hold her in his arms, his sister in whom his soul resides, even though she is not his real sister, but he loved her more than his own real sister.
Holding her for the first time was the most beautiful feeling for him, he was happy that he found his little sister whom he would save from the world, and now he was overwhelmed with the thought that he was marrying off his beloved sister.
He doesn't want his Amrita to go away from him but what can he do? He couldn't believe it, he was the one who said he would never let his sister go away from him but today he was letting her go. Saying goodbye to your sister is the most painful thing for a brother, no one can feel the pain of separation from a sister that a brother can feel. The brothers and sisters quarrel with each other a lot, but after a five-minute argument they finally make up with each other.
A brother always says that he will never cry if his sister gets married, but he is the one who cried the most. The one who could not bear a moment's separation from his sister, how could he bear a lifetime's separation from his sister? even tho they will meet, but what will be the same as before? Them stay with each other all day? Them keep teasing each other all day? Them keep fighting with each other all day?
This is the most painful thing a brother can do.
All their memories flashed before his eyes, his tears threatened to come out but he couldn't cry. If he breaks down in front of Amrita, how will she be able to support herself? He couldn't let this happen. With great difficulty he controls his emotions. "Let's go down, everyone's waiting, shall we?"asked Shaurya while amrita nodding her head.
Here in the mandap, Aayansh was sitting with his blank face and completing the ritual that the pandit ji (priest) was asking him to perform. Dhruv was standing behind him who was so happy Darsh asked the question, excited to see him extremely happy. "One second why are you so excited and happy? The one who should have been there is sitting with a blank face and here you are getting so excited. What's the matter?"
