A lizard crawls around the city, each step leaving its print. It wiggled its way through the hustle and bustle of footsteps, careful to avoid being crushed by one of the many giants that surrounded it. A young boy kneeled down and caught the lizard in his hand, examining it before putting it down and continuing his walk through town, taking a shortcut to his destination. The boy appeared peasantly for the most part. Short hair like a buzz cut, his skin a mix of black and white, and most importantly his golden eyes. He looked like an angel had taken human form, but everyone in this town knows what he was. As he walks down the shortcut, he sees kids being violated by adults, cannibals just biting down their fingers slowly, awaiting their next prey. He feels unsafe. Now, an adult man with his tongue out runs at him. Luckily with quick reflexes, this kid runs faster than him, or so he thought. An 8-foot tall giant flanked in front of him while he was looking back.

The giant strangled him unconscious, all fading to black.

After he finally woke up, neither of the men were in sight. He immediately started heading home. He walked with a limp, grabbing his behind. His home was extremely small, only 6'8 feet tall, and not that wide. At the front door, there was a box that read VON. He opens the door and comes in. He sits, his bum throbbing in agony. He fights through the pain, whilst drinking something similar to iced tea, but it was called Capt' Trem. All he had in his house was this small room with hay and a cotton cover over it. He took off his shirt, noticing he had only gotten skinnier from a lack of nutrition. He finished his Capt' trem and then laid down, closing his eyes.

In the morning, he wakes up, and puts on the same shirt. His hair is sticking up only one side so he quickly runs his hair with water as fast as he fan so he doesn't waste water, spiking up his short hair. Beams of sunlight glow through his windows, which he gets interested in.

" Wonder what's outside. " He says, as he peeks through. The ground was steaming as if oil were searing, except only the poor civilians would be the cuisine being cooked

" Yikes! " He says. He then grabs his homemade layered flip flops and heads out. You may wonder, what the hell is this place? Well in this world there are 3 regions. Aexen, Haota, and Ueon. As of right now, this is in Aexen. More specifically, Aexen, Towema. Towema itself is a bit like a city state, it's what makes Aexen's reputation so great.

Von walks through the city, people muttering about him as if they're trying to hide what they say, yet loud enough to be just hearable by a passerby, and it was all insults and rumors he had heard time and time again. He had had enough.

" There's something wrong with that kid. He's a DEMON, I say! An- " A woman started, right before she was shut up by a jab in the gut from Von. After that, people started hurling stuff at him, some of them landed, some didn't, couldn't tell, couldn't care less, it didn't hurt either way. He made his way to the fields to begin his work. When he arrived, there was the prince, standing there and watching them work. Quite unusual for someone of high status, being near the peasants. It was like eyeing a precious jewel, its lustre irresistible, almost impossible to take your eyes off of it. The prince turned around, catching a glimpse of Von staring directly back. An alarmed Von quickly avoided his glance, picked up a hoe and a bag of seeds, and began to work. The prince, weirdly enough, seems to be interested in this boy. They have a similar age gap, same height, maybe we could be friends, he thought. Von scooped his hoe into the soil, dropping seeds one by one. By the time he had completed a row, something in his senses just spikes up and he turns around to see the prince.

"Agh! " Von jumps back, startled. Hie chuckled. Von noticed that there weren't any guards around Hie, and his curiosity piqued.

"Good afternoon, your highness. How may I be of service?" Von asked politely, withholding a smirk. He'd punch a woman for a rude word, but he wouldn't stand up to authority. Well, he was uneducated, but not stupid.
