Atheno and Von continue their march, Von still carrying Wake senses incoming power. He looks in the sky and two men are fighting, fists clashing, striking each other blow for blow. One had a fiery aura surrounding him, while the other had an orbit of pieces of ice-like material around him. One of them dashes back, opening their mouth, wide as possible, while a crackling noise erupted from the back of his throat.
" DRAGON, FURY! " He roared as a huge beam of flame came out of his maw. The Ice guy puts two hands out and ice starts to form into a ball as if strings were being threaded together. The ball forms into the head of a leviathan and clashes with the beam
" POWER BLIZZARD! " As the two things clash, Von smiles, wanting to join in, he hasn't had a good fight in a while. He drops Wake, who then stops his meditating as he falls to the ground. Von leaps up and rears both of his arms back, making a fist. They both light up in flames and then Von pushes his arms forward.
" COMBUSTION RUSH! " He says, releasing a huge windforce at the two of them, but it mostly went for the middle of the clash of their two attacks, stopping them. Atheno crosses his arms, watching Von and just trying to understand his temataka more. Wake watches as well, a bit shocked to see Vons real power, only just seeing him scratch through his hypnosis. The two guys that were fighting groan and jump down, walking to shukoyoshi.
" Man, that idiot ruined our brawl. Didn't even ask to join. " One of the guys whispers to the other while walking. The other nods. Von jumps down and undoes his temataka. Although a bit burned, his muscles start to get the hang of his flame-like power. The three continued their walk to Shukoyoshi but eventually all of their stomachs growled, one after another. They all hold their stomachs and they start to drool, wanting some food.
" Are we there ye- " Wake groaned, interrupted by the two. "- NO! '' Atheno and Von reply, harshly. Wake sighs and begins to walk as if he had a limp. Atheno gets alerted, same with Von. They start to sense more and more temataka signs as they continue walking. Wake doesn't sense it as good as them but he feels something tingly in him. They start to go up this hill and they start to smile. Their smell sensors are going off, smelling meat, sweets, and the best drink ever created, Capt' trem. Von starts to go on four limbs and climbs up the hill faster. Once he gets to the top, a fist goes straight to his face, almost splitting his lip open again, and Von gets blasted down, rolling. Atheno and Wake look surprised, watching Von roll down. A man stands there, his stance it's just so shocking and so good. Although his arm is forward from giving Von the punch, his other arm is covering his side torso and his forearm is raised. Wake rushes at him, but gets blown back as well. Same thing for Atheno. The three are at the bottom, holding the part where they got hit in pain.
" Who the hell is this guy? " Atheno says, holding his arm in pain. The guy at the top realizes what he does and slides down the hill. When he got there he helped them get up.
" Sorry guys, I was just practicing some attacks. I didn't really see you. " He helps them get up, but Von sucker punches him in the face. The man holds his face in pain, his face turning a bit bruised up from the impact.
" Arghh. What the hell was that for? " The guy asks." Payback. " Von smiles and laughs. Atheno chuckles, while Wake still holds his chest in pain. The four start walking up and the man eventually introduces himself.
" My name's Icarus. I'm a four time unanimous champion for the tournaments and tomorrow it's gonna be five. " He smiles, giving a thumbs up. Wake gets interested from what Icarus just said. A tournament? Maybe we can participate and win, Wake thinks.
" Hey, is there any cash prize or what? " Wake asks Icarus as they reach the top of the hill, slowly going down.
" Yeah, but the real prize is the thrill. Hey, since you guys are newcomers, you also get a prize for staying in the town. I mean look at it, it's beautiful. '' Icarus says, and the city is revealed as they come further down the hill. The most beautiful city in Aixen, Shukoyoshi. The orange brick roofs blending with the white walls, the yellow sand beach mixing with the blue ocean. You can see people at stands, cooking food like soup and fish native to Shukoyoshi. Von starts to drool, and so does Atheno as well. They haven't had a good meal since they were at Atheno's town. Von rushes to one of the food stands, putting some of his money down and as soon as he gets his bowl of soup and fish on the side, he eats it vigorously. Wake starts walking down some stairs and just looks down. It's the ocean. Big fishes the size of a man who would be 7'1" just dive through the water and rise up. Fishermen throw their bait and line in the water, hoping to catch the fishes. Kids sit on the edge of the ground with their legs in the water and their arms leaned back with their elbows leaned back, perfectly relaxed. Wake takes off his shoes and socks and starts to roll up his pants, rushing to where the kids are and joining them. Atheno and Icarus watch.
