Two people walked through the murky forests of the island, both armed in case of any possible dangers among them.
The blonde one was perhaps the most confident despite being freaked out too, meanwhile the black and white split haired boy was freaking out, holding his axe close to his chest and looking around frantically to make sure no wild creatures or the killer were around, who could blame him though, they had been on this island for about a month or more by now and the gruesome things they had to witness were enough for someone to end up getting PTSD or even killing themselves.
The girl looked back at the guy worried.
.

Lake:Aiden are you okay? You've been scared this whole time.

Aiden:Haha! I'm super great knowing that someone out here is trying to end us all in the most fucked up way possible!!

.
Said Aiden laughing, trying so hard not to break down nor to make much noise, Lake turned around and placed a hand on Aiden's shoulder.
.

Lake:Hey it's okay, i promise we'll get back to the others and get out of here.

Aiden:I doubt anyone will save us now, we're basically stranded on an island with no contact from outside and with a crazy psychopath trying to kill us all.

Lake:I know and it is harsh but please don't lose hope, maybe they'll find us at some point!

.
Aiden was still in denial that they would survive until someone came to rescue them yet he smiled.
.

Aiden:Thank you Lake.

Lake:Anytime, now should we get back to looking for resources or do you want to maybe head back and i'll keep going?

Aiden:What!? No way am i leaving you behind! I'll stay i guess.

.
Lake was unsure but she smiled at Aiden's worry for her, the two began to walk again, still looking for more resources that were needed.
What they didn't know is that they were being watched from above.
.
.
.
As they walked they reached a part of the hill, they looked around until they felt someone's presence, ot sent shivers down their spines as they heard a cold breeze of wind behind their necks, a voice spoke.
.

"well what do we have here.."

.
The two turned around in a panic, only to be met with a figure that was slightly taller than them, its stomach was sliced and ripped open with its organs hanging out, blood all over their body, clothes torn and ripped, a rope tied to the neck, its eyes had been pulled out of their sockets.
Aiden and Lake were both paralyzed by how horrifying it was, even looking at it made them want to gag, yet they just couldn't stop staring in fear, a silk moth was clinged to its hand.
.

"I finally found someone perfect to keep you guys.."

.
Just as it said that, the figure squashed the moth, leaving nothing but mush.
.

"Oh don't be worried, this'll only hurt for a bit"

.
The figure was about to attack Lake, sprinting towards her as it's nails grew sharp claws that could peirce through someone's body.
.

Aiden:Lake watch out!

.
Aiden pushed Lake aside before the figure could attack her, but sadly in order to do so the figure attacked him, then Aiden felt the most tremendous pain a human could go through, Lake felt pain too after Aiden had pushed her, she looked up to be find with the terrifying sight of her friend's heart getting pulled out from his chest, the figure held Aiden's beating heart in its hand.
Lake just stared horrified, Aiden took one look at her and forcefully yelled as his voice cracked from the immense pain.
