Author's POV
The room was shrouded in an eerie silence, broken only by Yin's desperate pleas for Celine to wake up.
Tapping her cheek gently, he begged, "Celine, wake up. Please, please, please."
Whispers reverberated throughout the room as the guests exchanged puzzled and concerned glances.
"I didn't do it, I swear," War's voice trembled with desperation. He felt an urgent need to explain himself to Yin, who remained fixated on Celine.
Yin, it wasn't me. I was trying to help her. It's... it's..." War attempted to clarify, but Yin cut him off with a raised hand.
"STOP!" Yin's voice resonated through the room, silencing War before he could utter another word.
"Yin, you have to believe me. I was helping her. It's... it's..." War attempted to convey the truth, but Yin's abrupt outburst drowned his words.
"STOP FUCKING LYING, WAR!" Yin's shout reverberated in the room, drowning out War's feeble attempts to make sense of the situation.
"I'm not lying," War's voice cracked, tears mixing with the blood on his face. His desperation was palpable.
"She was hurt by mistake, Yin. She... she..."
"Then How do you explain this, War?" War's explanation was thwarted by Yin, who presented a blood-soaked piece of paper from Celine's pocket, a sinister message scrawled upon it..
"HOW DO YOU FUCKEN EXPLAIN THIS??!" Yin again, throwing the damning evidence at War.
War, trembling, picked up the paper, and his eyes widened with horror as he read the accusatory words:
"YIN HELP ME, WAR IS TRYING TO KILL ME."
The shock hit War like a sledgehammer.
He lost his balance and fell to his knees, his world spinning with disbelief.
"No, no, this... this is a lie, Yin. I... I..." War stammered, his words faltering.
"Mr. Wong," the family doctor interrupted, approaching with a team of nurses carrying heavy medical equipment.
"Please, allow us to tend to her."
Yin, still seething with anger, nodded, and the doctor directed the nurses to carry Celine to the private health room in the mansion.
As the nurses walked away, War's eyes followed them, haunted by the gravity of the situation.
When he turned around, he found Yin trailing them.
Desperation and fear gripped War as he stood up and followed Yin.
"Yin, you have to believe me," War pleaded.
"somebody else wrote the paper to put the blame on me. Please, Yin, you have to believe..."
"STOP," Yin cut off War's words with a stern look.
