Author's POV
Yin's hands gripped the steering wheel tightly as he drove, his eyes swollen from tears and his heart feeling heavier than ever.
Each mile that passed only intensified his misery.
The idea of going home, of facing Aom and pretending everything was fine, felt impossible.
He pulled out his phone and dialed Aom's number.
The call connected, and her voice came through.
"Hey fiancé"
"I won't be coming home tonight," Yin said.
"What happened? Are you oka...."
Before Aom could finish, Yin ended the call abruptly, tossing the phone onto the passenger seat
He needed a distraction, something to drown out the thoughts swirling in his mind.
Without hesitation, he dialed Bonz's number.
"Yin? What's up?" Bonz answered, his tone light and casual.
"Meet me at the club, I need to get out of my head."
Bonz, sensing the urgency and distress in Yin's voice, didn't question him.
"I'll be there in fifteen minutes."
Yin hung up and changed direction, heading towards the club instead of his house.
As he drove through the city, the lights blurred through his tear-streaked vision, and his mind replayed the events of the day.
The confrontation with War, the emotional turmoil, the realization that something was not adding up —they all collided within him, leaving him feeling more lost than ever.
Arriving at the club, Yin parked the car and took a deep breath.
He stepped out of the car and headed inside.
The familiar sight of the club, with its flashing lights and thumping bass, was a small comfort.
He spotted Bonz at a table near the back, waving him over.

Aom stared at the flickering candles on the dining table, their soft glow casting shadows around the room.
She had planned a special evening for Yin, a candlelit dinner to spend some quality time together.
The table was set with their favorite dishes, and a bottle of wine chilled in a bucket nearby.
But Yin’s abrupt call had shattered her plans.
She sighed, feeling the weight of disappointment settle over her.
Despite not knowing the exact reason for Yin’s bad mood, a nagging suspicion lingered at the back of her mind.
Could it be something related to War's departure? She shook her head, trying to dismiss the thought.
With a heavy heart, Aom began to undo her preparations.
She blew out the candles, plunging the room into darkness, and packed away the untouched food.
The chill of the wine bottle as she returned it to the fridge matched the coldness seeping into her chest.
It wasn’t just about the ruined dinner; it was about the growing distance she felt between her and Yin.
Once everything was cleared, Aom made her way to the bedroom.
The sight of the neatly made bed only intensified her loneliness.
