War's POV

As I leaned against the wall, watching Yin's reaction, I could see the emotions swirling in his eyes-shock, confusion, and then a sudden, fierce anger.

He turned away from me, clearly ready to leave the office in a hurry.

Panic surged through me; I couldn't let him walk out like this.

"Yin, wait," I called out, stepping forward to gently grasp his arm.

He froze but didn't turn to face me.

I took a deep breath, choosing my words carefully. "Can we forget about the past and start fresh?"

Yin slowly turned around, his eyes blazing with fury. "Start afresh really? Why are you back?"

I was silent.

"After 7 long years, Why?"

"Yin....

"Piss off, War," he spat, his voice laced with venom.

"I don't ever want to see you in front of me again."

The weight of his words hit me like a punch to the gut.

I had expected anger, but this raw, unfiltered rage took me by surprise.

I opened my mouth to say something, to plead my case, but Yin cut me off.

"You can talk to Aom about the wedding planning," he said coldly.

"I don't want anything to do with you."

With that, he stormed out of the office, leaving me standing there, stunned.

The door slammed shut behind him, the sound echoing through the empty room.

I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself.

I would talk to Aom, as Yin had suggested, and handle the wedding planning as professionally as I could.

After all that was what I came her for right.

Although I really hoped my relationship with Yin would be okay.

It's not that I wanted him back no, he has moved on and I also had my own life.

I just wished that we could maybe be friends.

After all , he was and forever would remain a very important person in my life.

Thinking about everything, I sighed and left his office,

I got a wedding to arrange.

.......

Yin's POV

As I stormed out of the office, a wave of conflicting emotions crashed over me.

My hands were shaking, my heart was pounding, and anger seethed within me.

I didn't understand why I was so furious with War, but seeing him again had unleashed something I thought I had buried long ago.

I stepped into my private elevator, which took me down to the underground parking lot.

My driver, Mr. Kiat, was waiting beside the sleek black limousine, looking slightly alarmed as I approached.

"Mr. Wong, is everything alright?" he asked, opening the door for me.

"No," I snapped, sliding into the back seat. "Just drive, Kiat. Bonz's place."
