Bailey unlocked the door, skipping inside and over to the boys on the couch.
"Bailey..." Duke whines.
"What?"
"I was wasting your boyfriend's ass until you came in and ruin our serious mood with all your happiness"
"It's not my happiness, well, it's partly, I think we just found J's brother"
"What?" Duke quickly pauses the game, and shoots over to me.
"Really?"
"Yeah, I think, I just would like some time alone for the minute, just to, realise it I suppose, I've lived without, Dan, for a while" they all nod their heads.
"Yeah, not knowing your brother for a big part of your life must suck, Jack and I were really close during our teenage years"
"Yeah, same here J, Finny and I were always close"
I pick up my bag and head for my room, I pull my laptop off it's charger and remove my earphones from my bag. Plugging them in I start it up. The first thing I do, look up what the letter said, 'The Diamond Minecart' on Youtube. I click on one of his videos and sit back.
"Hey everyone! Dan here!"
Oh. My. God.
All I can see is that little boy I knew fourteen years ago.
I watched more, Mod Showcases, Diamond Dimensions, Custom maps even his vlogs. I eventually knew more about his life in two hours than he would know in two days.
But one thing I realised during my Minecart Marathon was that I missed him, and how much I am like him. And so us four will see him once again.
"It's been a long fourteen year period Dan" I whisper to the screen, which was playing a custom horror map.
"J? You alright?" Bailey pops her head around the door frame
"Yeah... Good as gold, wanna watch with me?" I pat the piece of bed next to me, meaning that she can sit down next to me to be able to see the screen.
"Ok..." I change the vid to one of his vlogs on MoreTDM, one of them included his two pugs, Ellie and Darcie and one with his wife Jemma in it.
"Wow, so he is your brother?"
"Yup, I know it doesn't look like-"
"No, you guys do look like each other, but more than anything, you guys act like each other, from what I gathered from just those two vlogs, you act like him, you basically are him J"
"Thanks Bailey..."
"Its a good thing J, now are we gonna order pizza or what?"
