Bailey pulls up our family home driveway, sending stones in every direction.
"Bailey, you're meant to drive slowly on gravel driveways" she just shrugs her shoulders, turning the engine off and getting out. I get out as well, but I got a greeting from the family dog.
"Hey Misfit!" I bend down to pat her little patched head.
"Wheres my friend!" Bailey whines
"Right here gurl"
She just looks at me funny, smiling, before pampering Misfit.
"Yeah, it was someone coming up our driveway, hello J"
"Hey Mum" I walk up the stairs into her arms.
"Hello daughter 2" Mum addresses Bailey
"Hello second Mother"
"Come on in, don't forget to take off your shoes girls" I unlace my boots while Bailey slips off her jandels, but waits for me.
"Hey Dad!" I address the man sitting in the lounge chair, enjoying the sun and the rugby.
"Oh, hello J, and Bailey, is your mother going to show you what she showed me, gave me a big fright, I'll tell you that"
"Stop that Craig, you're giving the poor girls a fright, now, would you girls like anything to drink?"
"Yes please, coffee, milk and sugar please" I get up to make myself a drink while Bailey sits down in one of the seats next to Dad. Mother switches the kettle on while I persuade Bailey to sit at the kitchen island.
"This, this is what I texted you about love"
She slides an envelope, it was white, have very neat writing on it, and it had and air-mail stamp on it.
"Doesn't that mean that it's from somewhere out of the country?"
"Yes Bailey" I flip it over, looking for a sender's address, no such luck.
"Ok, so the person who sent you think doesn't live in L.A"
"Not everyone can live in L.A Bailey"
"True that, just open it already J"
I slide my thumb under the tag, opening it.
"You won't rip it J, i've already opened it"
"Oh" so I open it.
Inside was a letter, and four tags.
"Holy crap, are those Insomnia 54 tickets?"
"Shh Bailey, let me read the letter first, surely the letter will explain them"
