The Forest (Re-writing)

CHAPTER VII - Welcome to Storybook

After some time eating David speaks, getting up. — Now that you're all fed, let's pop in the Station and then see where Maya will stay for the night. — Maya gets up and talks too. — Yeah and give me some real clothes before I burn that dress. I get up too, getting surprised by her phrase and we then walk towards the station. In the way, I try to talk to Maya.

— How are you feeling? After everything. — I ask and she sights, responding. — I don't know. But it doesn't matter. Soon I'll be out of here.

We enter the station and go to Emma's and David office. In there are Emma and Snow. Maya just lean against the wall and waits. — So... what do you guys want to talk about? — She says crossing her arms, looking at everyone.

Maya is different. Different then Violet, then Harper. She gives a rebel vibe. Maybe is that "opposite" thing. But I need to know her more, and be careful. If she's my opposite and I represent no danger, she would be all of it.

— Yeah, so. First, Welcome to Storybook. We hope you like out small town. — Regina starts to talk with a small smile. — Second. We're all sorry for the pain and suffer you passed through. We want you to know that, unlike Gothel, you can trust us and we are here for you. — Maya looks away when Regina says the second point, probably trying to hide her suffer. After some time she looks at us again. Emma then, continues.

— You might stick up here for a while, since Gothel apparently enchanted the town line. — Maya looks angry, almost yelling a "What?". — I know you want to go home now, but look at the bright side. Here you can make new friends, and maybe create something before you even notice. — Snow tries to pacify things, But Maya doesn't look like changed so much. Pissed, Hunter walks twords the group.

— I already had everything. I had friends and a family that supported me. I finally diced what to do with my life, had hopes in things that could actually happend. For the first time nothing could bring me down. Then a crazy bitch appears in my room, steals my heart, kidnap me and here we are. — Maya say being expressive, walking to Snow, who had tears in her eyes. — Great. Now I made you cry.

David hugs Snow and then looks at Maya walking away from the group, but not leaving the room. Emma then talks too. — I know jumping in this thing is insane, and I would never understand how you fell right now. But you get used to it with the time. — She smiles at her family, I smile back.

— Okay, fine. Can I at least call my friend? It's been a week since we don't talk. — Maya says looking at everyone. Regina then looks at the group, worried. — I don't know, Maya...  It could be dangerous if someone else knew about Storybook.

— So I don't talk about your city. Can I call her now? — My family looks at each other while I stay quiet, is not the best moment. Regina then denies with her head and Snow talks. — What? The girl should be able to see her family!

Regina then talks back. — What if she spits that she's in a magical city with Snow pale and Prince perfect? — Emma enters the discussion, arguing. —I'm with Regina. She just got her heart back and still refuses to talk about it. The minute she talks to someone of trust she'll tell what happened.

— Yeah and let's add that she's probably not trustable, since she is Henry's complete opposite. — Regina adds.

I see look at everyone starting to argue hard. I sight and look at Maya, trying to comfort her. But I can't find her. — Guys...? Where's Maya?

Everyone looks around. She took advantage of everything fighting and ran away. — I got this. I'll call you if I don't find her. — I say and get out of the station. This girl is not too far. I walk through the street, looking around for Maya. When I finally see her walking out a used clothes shop, now wearing boots, a dark jeans, yellow blouse and a black leather jacket. She has her back to me, waking. — Cool clothes, how did you get them? — I ask and the turns to me.
