Jennie had come to the northern area at the very moment she came to know Chaeyoung was missing. That morning when she opened his phone there was news about the north's storm. She didn't know he had gone there until she heard her father talking with her father-in-law.

Fortunately aeroplanes to the north were opened for transporting daily necessities and help.

She joined the militaries who were already searching for him, showing his photo to every person. Alas! Nobody saw him. Some of them wanted to give up. She felt so numb that she couldn't think of anything without finding him out.

"Madam we have searched every possible place. I don't think there is any place left. The sun is about to set, we should go back. Your health also is not good. Moreover there is a problem with robbers."

"No I can't give up. I need to find him." How much she tried to act, but she knew bravery wasn't in her blood. But this day was different.

They only found his car which was a few metres away from the river.

"Maybe he was pushed by strong air and fell down on the river. The river's waves are scary. There is no chance to be alive." A young army said.

The captain killed him with his narrow eyes. "Madam we can search for him tomorrow." He tried to console Jennie. Her face was like she lost her living. He felt pity for her. Somehow he also started thinking about her husband not being alive  anymore. Maybe he really fell in the river.

"Sir are you sure we haven't left searching for any place?"

"No madam."

He was with her two days ago. That day he acted sweet like before. They had a proper kiss. He wanted to tell her something.

Standing there for more than a minute Jennie looked at her finger ring. She closed her eyes. Her fate is strange. She bit her upper lip so that her weak sob couldn't come out. She looked at the river.

'Chaeyoung, is it your grand punishment for me?'

She opened her eyes and wiped her uncontrollable tears.

"Where does the river go?" She asked . She was determined to find him even if by her own life.

"This river went through a small village. People like president Park would never go there. It will just waste our time. Better to go back and come tomorrow." He said.

"No. I want to go there right now." She said firmly.

"Ok madam. But be careful on the road it's slippery." She nodded.

They asked a few people there and they also answered in the negative.

Jennie wanted to sit there and cry but she couldn't be weak at the moment. She wished it was ok if they couldn't get together anymore but at least he should be alive and safe.

She took out the picture and kept looking at him. Her eyes filled up with tears.

"This person?" A woman asked.

"Yes yes..Did you see him?" Jennie asked.

"I didn't see him. But this morning I saw our neighbour girl taking an unconscious person in her house. I couldn't see his face."

"Please show us the house." They followed the woman.

"Umm be careful of her. She is kinda ill mentally. She doesn't talk much. A few months ago her husband died, he was swept away by the river. Since then everyday she goes there." She pointed at a hut. "That. That's her house."

They knocked on the door but nobody opened.

"Is anybody here?" They yelled. Yet nobody opened. It was already after evening. They could see the light inside the hut through the alley of the door.
