Queens POV

I woke up to the sound of music. I sat up, stretched, and looked around. I noticed Naomi wasn't in bed, but heard the music was coming from the bathroom. I can't believe I've been doing this to myself, sleeping with someone who isn't even committed to me. I've known Naomi since high school and I've always had feelings for her. She says she cares about me but she didn't want to risk our friendship. However, she risked it when she kissed me after her breakup with her ex...

[ I can't do this anymore.]

I got up and started to get dressed when I heard the bathroom door open. Naomi came out in a sports bra, basketball shorts, and she was putting her hair in a ponytail.

"Good morning."

"Hi."

I grabbed my phone and made my way to the door when she blocks it.

"Yo, you good?"

"Far from good, excuse me."

"What's going on, talk to me."

"I keep falling for your shit that's what's going on. I give my self to you and you don't value me. I always take into consideration of your feelings when you don't of mine."

"Queen I... I'm sorry..."

"No you're not, but it's cool. You can go right back to your ex like you always do."

I try to grab the door handle and she grabs my wrist.

"Queen we need to talk about this."

"Now you wanna fucking talk?! After all this time! Why?!"

"Queen watch your mouth!"

"Or what Naomi?! All you've done is fucking hurt me!"

"Babygirl, I just don't want you leaving here upset...

I could feel my tears starting to form.

"You don't know how many times I've left your place upset. I'm tired of keeping this shit in, I've respected your boundaries and look what that has done to me."

I wipe my face and take a deep breath.

"It's time I started to value myself and maybe someone down the line will value me too. I'm done disregarding my feelings and putting myself last."

"Babygirl..."

"Stop calling me that. Now let me go Naomi."

She lets go of my wrist and I leave.

6 Months Later

Naomi's POV

"You're all set, just be sure you turn everything off so your battery won't drain."

"Thanks so much Naomi."- Customer

"No problem."

After my customer left I organized my tools when there was a sudden knock.

"Yo I'm about to close."

"All I need is a minute."

The voice sounded familiar, I turned around to see my ex...Harmony.

"What're you doing here?"

"That's one way to greet people."

She walks up the garage and stands in front of me.
