The morning was breaking and your alarm was ringing, but being the lazy person you are, you couldn't care less. You let the alarm ring until you were annoyed by it, then finally decided to get up and check your phone.
"Damn, it's so early in the morning and the first thing I do is stare at my phone," you muttered as you scrolled through Twitter. You were shocked to see a retweet about a livestream featuring Hanni with Daniel and Minji together. Curiosity got the best of you, "a little peek won't hurt, right?"
As you watched the chaotic clip, you found yourself adoring Hanni more and more. But then Minji mentioned that Hanni talks to someone almost every day, and a pang of sadness hit your heart. You and Hanni had only reconnected a few days ago, but the thought of her talking to another guy made you feel jealous, as you continued to as they keep teasing Hanni until she described the special someone that she always talk to in her free time
"He's an idiot all the time, and that's what makes him special," Hanni said in the live stream. As you heard what she said, the jealousy inside of you faded away, because you knew that Hanni was referring to you. "You cheeky bastard, Hanni," you murmured while watching the clip. As the clip ended, you felt a pang of excitement. You wanted to tease her when you two see each other again.
You messaged Hanni, "So, I'm the one who makes you smile, huh?" and added a winking emoji. Her response came almost immediately, "Haha, you caught that, did you? Well, what can I say, you have a way of making me laugh, even when you're being a total idiot." You couldn't help but smile at her reply.
"Wanna hang out later?" you asked her boldly, not expecting a positive reply, but her response shocked you, "Of course, I'm free for the day I think since we finished our photo session yesterday," she said.
As the two of you discussed the details and agreed to go to the night market later when you were done working.
When you arrived at work, you were grinning like a complete idiot, daydreaming about finally hanging out with her after almost 2 years apart. You couldn't help but ponder the possibilities. As you entered your office, a coworker noticed your mood.
"You seem a little happier today, Y/n. Did something happen?" Dale asked.
"Yeah, Dale, finally got to hang out with her after 2 years apart," you said as Dale chuckled. "Finally, boss, you've got someone! I was starting to think you were into boys, but now that problem is solved," Dale remarked as you playfully smacked his shoulder. "Yeah yeah, shut up, Dale, or else I'll make you run errands," you quipped. The two of you laughed like penguins until you bid each other goodbye and continued working.
As the hours passed, you found yourself daydreaming about Hanni instead of focusing on your work. You couldn't help but smile like an idiot and think about how she made you fall so hard. "Damn, how can she make me fall this hard," you murmured to yourself. "Aaaaaa I can't wait for tonight," you screamed internally.
As the afternoon came, you couldn't contain your excitement and decided to leave work early. And when you were about to exit the building, you saw Dale and Zeke grinning at you. Knowing they were going to tease you, you tried to ignore them. But Dale shouted, "You bastard, leaving us at work alone so you can go on your date." Embarrassed, you just gave Dale the middle finger and laughed, saying, "Not my problem that you couldn't get any woman under your pants, Dale." Dale started chasing you, while Zeke just stood there laughing like crazy.
"Zeke don't stand there help me beat up this traitor" Dale said to Zeke while Zeke just watched the two of you chased each other, "Stop dale stop, I'll treat you for a buffet next week if you stop" as you said that Dale stopped "Hmmmm, and buy me dessert after too, and we have a deal" as Dale said that you knew he eats like a person that has been trapped in an island and didn't got to eat for almost year, you only nodded at him as he gave out a winning smile, "Goodluck on your date Y/n hoping that you wont do something that ruins it" Dale said teasing me and Zeke said "Yeah don't fuck it up Mister" he said.
After saying goodbye to those fools, you got into your car and texted Hanni "Just got out from work." You waited for a bit and she texted back, "Miss me that much?" You knew she was teasing you, so you teased back "Of course, who wouldn't miss your beautiful face Hanni-yah," along with a heart emoji. As you sent that, your heart was a mess, beating like crazy. Then she replied, "Shut up, you don't miss me, you're just trying to make me flustered." You laughed at her text and replied, "Yeah, I miss Minji more," and suddenly she called you.
"If you miss Minji that much, then talk to her," she said. You laughed at her and said, "I'm just joki-" but were cut off by a voice you were scared of, and that voice was from none other than Minji. "Hello? Hanni said that someone wanted to talk to me," she said with a serious tone. You cursed Hanni internally and stuttered, "Ummmm, N..no Ma'am." Minji paused for a while, looking at Hanni, and said in the background, "Is this the guy Hanni-yah? If yes, I'll tease the hell out of this boy," while Hanni looked at her with a satisfied smirk. "Go ahead Minji-ya, he's been teasing me since this morning and I think he's afraid of you," Hanni said.
During the other call, you overheard them talking in the background. Just as you were about to speak, Minji suddenly said, "Hanni said that you missed me. Are you a fan of mine or something?" She said it with a flirtatious tone, which caught you off guard. You knew Hanni asked her to make you flustered, and being a boy yourself, you wouldn't want to lose a battle, so you decided to play the game that Hanni wanted to play.
"Well, to be honest, I do admire you. That's why I miss you that much," you said, fighting back. As Hanni heard what you said, she was screaming internally at you, feeling a pang of jealousy. On the other hand, Minji was just shocked. She stared at the wall, rethinking her life's decisions. She muted the call for a bit and talked to Hanni all flustered,
"Hanni-yah, you talk to this goofos or else I'll end up stealing this boy from you,"
She said, playfully teasing Hanni. "Don't you dare do that, Minji, or else I'll tell Danielle what you did to her phone when she was gone," you said. As you said that, Minji covered your mouth and said, "Shut up, would you." Hanni only rolled at Minji, as she talked the phone out from Minji's hand, "Hello Y/n you still there?" she said in a honey-like voice, "Yeah Hanni I'm still here for Minji" you said teasing her, "Yah stop it your hurting me, if you keep teasing me like this i wont go out with you later" Hanni said as you only laughed at her, " Yeah yeah ill stop teasing you Phampham," "Meet you at 6?" you said.
"Hey, let's meet at 6, and don't dwell on me too much," she said before ending the call. As you hung up, you couldn't help but grin at the playful exchange between you and Hanni. It was always enjoyable to jest with each other, and you knew she relished it as well. You swiftly prepared for your date, eagerly anticipating the time you would spend with Hanni later that evening.
