"The Last Fight"

Maya looked back down at the ground, her nails digging into the earth underneath her, still in shock.
Maya shook her head before getting up onto her feet.
"Deltora" she said angrily, Deltora hunched over the grass underneath him, the area looked familiar to Maya, to her left a rock  and a tree the right, it was almost as if her visioned had a shaded hue of the area that she had originally fought Deltora in.
"lets begin then..."  Deltora hissed as shuffled back ready to jump onto Maya as she slid her right foot back behind her for balance as she pulled out her sword with her left hand, her right hand fingers curled over summoning all the water from the earth.
Deltora launched himself at Maya as she rolled to herself to the right and out of Deltora's grasp, he lifted up his head ready to breath out scorching hot fire, Maya began to absorb more water into her hand and pulled her hand back and launched it straight into his mouth before he could even ignite it, Maya took another roll, tumbling into the long grass.
Deltora shook his head from the attack Maya had made trying to regain consciousness, he turned hus head to realise that Maya had dissapeared, geussing that sje was hiding in the long grass, Deltora made his way to search the long grass.
"You cant hide in there forever" he hissed, lowering his head to sniff her out, Maya took of her cardigan leaving it in the grass as she slowly maneuvered through the grass leaving her scent in different places, taking off her shirt, shoes, socks and braclet in different locations.
As Maya crawled on her stomach, she could see the scales of the dragon close to her face as she crawled out of view and quickly until she found a safe spot to rest and breath for a bit before figuring out her next tactic, suddenly it was very quiet and within seconds Deltora had chomped his jaws down into Maya's torso as she drew out a terrifying painful scream, Maya twisted herself around to see Deltora's face very close to hers, Maya was still hanging onto her sword as she lifted it up and stabbed it through Deltora's muzzle, he bit down harder refusing to let go, seconds after Deltora began to wail as he flung Maya through the air and into the rock and onto her stomach, almost hitting her head open... Again.
Maya looked down at her torso as she began to bleed out, she  could she the tooth marks that Deltora had left on her, Maya coughed abd spluttered realising she was depleted and had no energy left, Maya looked up onto the sunset, the blood and swear matted onto her head shone in the orange light of the sun as Maya began to think.
"I've let everyone down" she thought to her self. "They are all going to die....but Inwill see you soon"  the sudden thought of Mar came to her mind and all the memories that they shared, their first kiss and how they first met, her mind began to wonder now suddenly thinking about Zif, Kala, Emerald, Lazarus, Max and Odilia how they would die, and that it was her fault.
A hand suddenly appeared in front of Maya, not knowing who it was, she grabbed it as the figure pulled her up to her feet.
Naya looked up to see it was Mar again, as he smiled at her.
"Am I... Dead?" she asked, hoping that it was, Mar shook his head.
"You have to keep fighting" he spoke.
"I don't want to!" Maya interrupted.
"I hated my life untill you came along, I never wanted any of this to happen, im tired Mar and I cant live without you"
"But you have to live, you swore to protect my kids, our children" Mar said assertively as if he was trying to remind her of a promise that she couldn't break.
"please..." Maya sobbed.
"Look at me" Mar said, lifting a finger from jnder her chin. "I am always here, watching you, listening to you even when you dont feel my presence" Mar wiped away a tear from Maya's face.
"Your going to have to be strong now" another voice came from behind, Maya turned around to see her reflection, but in different clothing.
"Your going to need all the strength you need" she said walking up to Maya. "My name is Evelynn and I give you the power of wind and gust, this will be used by lonliness " She said lifting her hand, her palm up right as wind picked up hovering around Evelyn as it picked up dirt and leaves as it tossed and turned around her then towards Maya, Evelynn took a step back as a woman steppes in.
"My name is Amethyst, and I give you the power of electricity, it is used by unconditional love" electricity zapped, surrounding Ameythest and outlining her body as it zapped up her arm and onto her palm and zapping into Maya's body.

Maya suddenly woke up as if she was stuck in a trance, the stars began to appear in the night sky as the sun had already sat,  she pushed herself up from the ground to see Deltora hissing in frustration.
"If this is some kind of trick Nyria, I will kill you... Again!" Deltora roared, Maya stayed down waiting for the opportunity as Deltora turned around to see Maya limp on the ground.
"I dint understand, I should bs king now, SHE'S DEAD!" he roared turning his back onto Maya as she jump up onto her feet, hurling a gust of wind towards the dragon by waving her hand around, pushing him onto his side, she ran up his back leg and onto his back as she leaped onto his head, Deltora realise what she had planned as he inhaled quickly to create a spark, breathing out his toxic flames as it burnt into Maya's skin as she pulled out the sword from his muzzle and stabbing it into his head with force, Maya lifted up her right hand as thunder and lightning arose from the clouds above her, a bolt of lightning hit Maya stricking through her body and into her arm as she drove the sword in Deltora's brain.
Deltora's body limped onto tur ground as Maya rolled of his body and into the grass as she watched his eyes roll back into his head letting out a final breath.
"You did it" Maya turned around to see Mar again, a sudden sigh of relief came over her as she realised everyone was saf.
"will i see you again?" she asked knowing not to keep her hopes up, Mar shook his head.
"I'm sorry" he said, he leant forwards to give Maya a final hug, Mar was crazy in love with Maya but he sensed that she didn't love him as much as she used to, he felt something different in her and that she was just in denial.
"You have to move on and do what feels right" Mar said. "Listen to what your heart is saying, and let go" Mar said, he looked down into Maya's eyes deeply. "I can not rest peacefully unless you move on from me" he said, holding back the tears.
"But, I love you" Maya said crying softly, suddenly Mar became transparent as if he was fading off into the light, his body slowly moving of into the distance.
"no! Please no!" Maya cried as she fell onto her knees.

Suddenly Maya woke up again, inhaling sharply as if she had risen from the dead, voices around her echoed in shock.
"what just happened?" another voice said, Maya turned her head slightly to her left to see Lazarus crouching near her.
"Maya" He said in shock. "you've won"
"That must mean shes automatically ruler of this diemension" Emerald said, standing behind Lazarus, he picked up Maya from the ground as she slowly regained consciousness.
"We have a new ruler... A queen!" Laz shouted across the field to all the wounded soldiers.
"All hail, Queen Maya!" Laz said as everyone chanted. "All hail, Queen Maya!" Laz turned around to his sister.
"Go and gather others to search for Kalaa, I will bring Maya home and attend to her wounds" Lazarus said as they both went opposite directions.
