THAT NIGHT

Chapter 3

Marwan was sitting at his desk working on the computer with so many other employees working at their desks, He looked around himself
"I think it's time to make this company fall," He said to himself.

A man came to him
"Marwan" But he didn't answer
"Marwan" "Yes"
"You're lost in your mind man"
"Sorry I was thinking about something, What do you want?"
"Mr.Lincoln calling you" "Why?"
"I don't know he told me to call you"
"Okay I'm going"
He stood up from his desk and went to Lincoln's office.

He knocked on the door and Lincoln permitted him to enter. Lincoln was wearing a glass and writing in a notebook.

Part of the office is all windows

"Did you ask for me, Mr.Lincoln"
"Yes Marwan come and sit"
Marwan sat on a single sofa, and Lincoln put his glasses down
"How are you doing Marwan?"
"I'm fine Thanks Mr.Lincoln... Do you need my help with anything?"

"I'm going to a big conference that taking place in four days and I want you to come"
"I love to attend conferences so I'm going to accept but why do you invite me and not the others?"

"You did great the last few months. You're still new at this job and are young but you're very talented and good at what you do you're going to grow more with knowledge and experience... This is in my favor too... So I want to reward you in this way. You're invited and you will not pay for the ticket"

Marwan laughed
"Yes You're right and thank you"
"But don't betray me later on"
Marwan looked at him with a sarcastic expression
"Why I'm going to betray you?"
Lincoln raised his shoulders and eyebrows
"I don't know, people come here, take a lot of knowledge and experience then they leave"

"Do you see this as betrayal?"
"Yes, I see that as a betrayal because we train them, Give them some of our knowledge, and some of them after gaining enough experience, they take it and go"

"There are betrayals much worse than this... Much worse"
"I know what you mean, Especially if it is from someone close to you it hurts so bad" Marwan smirked
"Did anyone close to betray you before Mr.Lincoln?"

"Yes, It happened to me. What about you?"
"Me too and it was unexpected, someone you trust stabs you in the back" "I agree"

Marwan looked at him for a few seconds without saying anything.

"Okay, Mr.Lincoln If there's nothing else I'll go"
"Yes of course you can go"
Marwan stood up to leave
"By the way Mr.Lincoln Are you going to give a speech at the conference?"
"Yes, I'll do" Marwan nodded.

" Ahh I was about to forget Marwan There's something else I want you to do for me"
"Of course ask Mr.Lincoln."
After he told him Marwan left
"So you're acting nice now... you're going to pay for what you did, criminal," Marwan said to himself.

Yasmine and Olivia were walking down the corridor of the university.

"Someone help I'm going to die"
"What's wrong Olivia?"
"The lessons are very difficult I can't believe you say it's easy"
"No the thing is that we're still at the beginning, of course, things going to get harder with time"
Olivia was about to cry
"No how am l supposed to deal with all of that?"

Yasmine rubbed Olivia's arm
"Don't worry with study and hard work things going to get easier"
"Thank you, Yasmine"
Yasmine smiled.

Maya passed by them and intentionally bumped into Yasmine and she fell to the ground.

"Wait, why did you do that?" Olivia asked angrily.
Maya turned around
"I didn't mean that"
She raised her shoulders while saying.

Yasmine got up and felt pain in her leg.

"No, you did that on purpose"
"Calm down Olivia"
The other students were watching them
"What are you saying, Yasmine? She bullying you for no reason you even got hurt"
"I'm fine it's nothing"

"Apologise," Olivia said
"Yes you did that on purpose so I want you to apologize," Yasmine said.
Maya rolled her eyes and didn't say anything.

"Apologies or we're going to tell the principal," Olivia said
"Do you think I'm scared of the principal"
"No you're not but it still going to affect you, You know no one wants to have a bad reputation," Olivia said.

Maya looked at Yasmine for a moment
"I'm sorry Yasmine I didn't mean to do that," Maya said sarcastically then she left.

"It's not an apology come back"
Olivia wanted to go after her but Yasmine stopped her
"Olivia It's okay the students are watching us"
"Let them watch don't care about them...This girl is very annoying. She sees herself as better than us just because she is from the Elrod family"
"Let's go Olivia we have a lot of work to do"
"Okay let's go it's better to spend my energy studying not fighting her."

Marwan was waiting in a black car wearing black glasses in front of the university he looked at the students talking and laughing with each other.

"My sister could enter this university because she's very smart. She's eighteen years old now just like some of these students" Marwan said to himself,
He put his head on the steering wheel.

Yasmine came out from the university Olivia ran after her
"Yasmine" She shouted,
Marwan raised his head and looked at her.

"I changed my mind I want to leave with you I don't like those other girls," Olivia said
"But we don't walk the same path"
"It's okay, we'll walk half the way together" "Good let's go"

They left and Marwan looked at her until she disappeared from his sight.

"What I was thinking, My sister is not the only one whose name is Yasmine... I'm sure she's alive somewhere I can feel it"
He said to himself.

"Marwan!" Maya said,
"Did you come to pick me up?"
"Yes Your driver had something to do so I came... Is there a problem with that?"
"No no" She Shook her head
"No problem, I was just surprised"
"Great, get in the car then, Maya"
She rode in the back seat.

"Do you want to go somewhere before returning home?"
"Hmm... No, I want to go home I have a quiz and a report to prepare for tomorrow"
"Okay I'll take you home"
"Thank you," she said as she smiled,
and they left.

At sunset, Zayn went to the graveyard he sat on the ground in front of two graves There was a large tree next to the two graves that Zayn planted himself.

"Dad Mom I'm with that man I see him every day and I'm forced to smile at him and treat him with respect... He and Anwar going to pay... They Destroyed our family In return I will destroy everything they built and I'm going to find my sister... I'll take care of her as I promised"

He took some soil from the graves of both of them and looked at it.

"Soon all the media will be talking about them"
Then he poured the soil slowly and stood, he put his hands in his pockets "Goodbye Mom and Dad" Then he left.
