{(Y/n)'s POV: Beacon Academy, (11:45 PM)}

Walking across the halls of Beacon Academy. I started thinking to myself that it had already been two weeks since the untimely end of Yang. Because of her "untimely" end, things around Beacon had started to change.

{Flash Back: Beacon Academy, (10:50 PM)}

After returning to the Academy, I was met with sad faces all around. Looking around them I could see people frowning, others crying, while a horde of them gathered in front of the Academy. Walking past them I finally understood why they were crying. In front of the Academy, I saw several photos of students that had given up their lives defending the City of Vale from the horde of Grimm's that I had released. And among the photos one stood out, which was Yang's photo.

Not wanting for people to become suspicious of me, I put on a worried face, and I darted for team RWBY's dorm. Whoever when I had taken a left turn I crashed into one of my teachers, Glynda. Her expression showed that she was physically, and mentally tired. I guess the pain of losing several of her precious students must have weighed heavily on her mind. A closer look at her eyes showed a look of tiredness and exhaustion, I could only think that it was because of all the paperwork. Not only that but the loss of her students must have done something.

"What a dying shame." I thought to myself as I gazed back at her. I dared not say the words out loud in the hopes of her catching on, but still, when I had gotten up from the floor I reached out to help her, which she thankfully took. "Too easy."

"I'm so sorry Ms.Glynda! Are you okay?" I said while staring back at her.

"I-It's okay. You don't have to apologize... I wasn't watching where I was going."

"Ms.Glynda are you sure you're okay? You're not looking so good?" I asked pretending to care. Lord knows I couldn't have cared less. Let alone give two shits about her problems.

"Y-Yes. I'm okay." For a moment I could see a smile that quickly faded as she looked past me, and over to the students that kept crying over their losses. "Anyway, I take it that you've seen the photos?"

"Yes!" I raised my voice pretending to care. "Please tell me that this is some form of joke!? I saw Yang's face with the rest of them!... Wait!" My eyes widened remembering something. "Don't tell me!"

She placed a hand on my right shoulder and we locked eyes. "She... She won't be coming back." She looked around making sure that no one was seeing us. "Truth is. The Xiao Long, and Rose family was attacked by an unknown individual... No one survived."

I nod back at her, while holding on to my left arm. "Yeah, I heard from Ruby." I placed a hand close to my chest, while looking away from her. "Poor girl."

"Well during the attack at the city. Yang was separated from her team, and was then killed by someone. We don't even know who the person is. Let alone why they would do this."

"And team RWBY?"

"I... I think you should go see them. I tried to talk to them, but they simply kept silent."

"I see..." I looked away pretending to be hurt by all this information. "I-I'm sorry for bringing this up."

She shook her head, and lightly smiled back at me. "It's okay. None of this is your fault."

As we talked I noticed as several of the Atlesian Airships had started to dock.

"What's going on?"

"Truth is Professor Ozpin has canceled the Vytal Festival, and called out to General Ironwood for assistance in helping the city."
