Waking up from a nightmare I snatch my pen from under my pillow and roll my desk chair to the window. When I open the window it squeaks and I hear a grunt, “The hell are you doing?”

“Shit, sorry. I didn't mean to wake you,” I stumble over my words and look over to see Levi sitting up, shirtless.

“That wasn't an answer brat.”

“Oh, I was just gonna smoke some to go back to sleep. Care to join me?” I offer, scooting my chair over.

“Why not,” he grumbles and drags his chair over.

“That's the spirit,” I grin and take a hit.

I pass him the pen blowing the smoke out of the window. He copies my actions and passes it back, I take notice of his toned body and find myself flushing a little. We keep passing the pen back and forth between us and blowing smoke out of the window when he says, looking me over, “This isn't all that bad.”

“No, it's not. Neither are you,” I don't know why I said it, probably the weed.

“I could say the same about you,” he winks at me and then takes another hit.

“You flatter me so.”

“Just saying what I think,” he mumbles.

“Mhm,” I hum thoughts wandering to more lewd topics, “Do you have a girlfriend?”

“No,” he grunts, “Do you have a boyfriend?”

“Nah, I haven't found the right one yet or really anyone that matches up with my standards. Hell, nearly all the good ones are taken.”

“Mhm.”

I stay quiet and take another hit off the pen. As my silvery scars catch the moonlight Levi thinks to himself, ‘She's beautiful. Black hair catching the moonlight as it cascades down her back. Fair skin glowing from the moonlight as well. Almost ethereal.’
