How It All Started

Chapter 4

The next time I wake up is at five because of my alarm. I get out of bed after laying there for a couple of minutes. Once out of bed, I grab a pair of black sweatpants and a light jacket. I go to the bathroom and change, heading outside to go for a run. When I get outside I put my headphones on and start my liked playlist the first song playing.

Heading to the sidewalk to start my run I find Erwin and Levi there.

“Good morning,” I greet.

“Good morning, how are you?” Erwin asks me as Levi just nods my way.

“So-so, how about you Erwin?”

“I’m doing good, Levi and I were just about to go for our morning run.”

“Oh! Me too,” I grin and them and Levi rolls his eyes at me.

“Really? Why don't you join us?”

“Sure. Why not?” my grin grows wider and I move to stand next to Levi, humming the song playing.

“Brat,” he grumbles.

“Good morning to you as well Levi.”

We start our run and make a lap around the campus. Once done with the lap Levi and I returned to our room and started getting ready for the day. He goes to change while I pull open the window and smoke a little before shooting the window and going to change into my uniform. After I've changed I head down to the cafeteria and see Audrey sitting at a table in the corner.

I head over to her and take a set across from her, “Good morning Audrey.”

“Good morning,” she mumbles half asleep.

I steal a piece of toast off her plate and start talking, “So you know my roommate Levi right?”

She nods, “He's so fucking hot. Like it's unfair,” I hear someone at the booth behind us choke a little and glance back to see a group of people. A boy with brown hair and one with blond hair as well as a girl with black hair.

“So last night I woke up from a nightmare and went to smoke like I do. However, I woke Levi, who apparently sleeps without a shirt, and invited him to smoke with me. The crazy thing is that he accepted it!”

Audrey looks over at me and grins, “Sounds like you might have a thing for him.”

“No, no, he's just hot,” I denied and went back to eating my toast.

“Uh-huh,” she doesn't believe it, but what did I expect?

“Say what you will, I don't have a thing for him,” I sigh as the bell rings and head to my first class.
