Your skin was cold and pale while your breathing was slow and light, but you were alive. You were completely unresponsive and I suspected you had gone without blood for too long, likely worsened by my sudden meeting. I cut my hand and started to give you some blood, hoping it would wake you up. Instantly, you looked less pale, but you still wouldn't wake. I carried you and set you on the bed gently, hoping you would recover swiftly.
I waited and I waited all throughout the night. I was hungry, but I couldn't leave your side even for a minute until I knew you were okay. Your swelling was down and your breathing regulated, but you still wouldn't wake up. By the time morning came, I knew my worshippers expected me, but I canceled everything for the day and called in one of the physicians who observed you last time.
He was very quiet but concise. He knew better than to touch you without explicitly asking for permission this time. I observed his every move closely. His eyebrows were furrowed before he finally spoke.
"This is different than last time, she should be awake by now," he said quietly, nervous at my response.
"Well, that's just no good. What do you suggest?" I asked him in my normal tone, containing my frustration. It would be no good to lose control over my emotions in front of my worshippers frequently.
"I know one strange doctor in Tokyo. She is rumored to meddle in dark magic, but, she is very successful in treating unnatural circumstances such as this. Her name is Lady Tamayo," he explained.
Tamayo, that was a familiar name. Isn't she the outlaw demon Muzan has been hunting for the past three hundred years? To think humans know her location yet we demons had no idea. If she was treating humans though, that would explain she we have been unable to locate her easily. She must be concealing herself somehow from other demons and staying in areas not often hunted.
"How do you find her?" I asked him with determination in my eyes.

When the sun disappeared for the day, I picked you up in my arms gently as I made my way to Tokyo. The journey wouldn't take me too long, but I had to be careful to not cause any more harm to you. I held you close to my chest, wrapped tightly in a warm blanket so the chilled late fall air wouldn't damage your precious body further. Soon, the dark of the night turned to bright red lights even though the moon was out.
The doctor told me she is able to sense humans with supernatural injuries, so she should appear as long as I walk around a certain area in Tokyo. There was a large fence near the main street where I was walking alone. There weren't many people thankfully, so I wouldn't be raising any suspicions. I could sense a faint demonic presence, meaning she was nearby but likely wasn't going to appear in front of me due to my status as Upper Two.
Yet, somehow, my mind was clear even though I hadn't done anything sexual since our wedding night. Regardless, I took advantage of the clarity and knowing Muzan wasn't able to see what was happening to help you.
"Lady Tamayo! I know you are here, and you know Muzan can't see through my eyes right now. This woman needs your help," I called out into nothingness. I felt the presence come closer. I sighed at what I had become, but I knew I loved you too much to care about how Muzan would feel about this situation. The last he knew was I was looking for her at least.
"What does Upper Two want with Lady Tamayo?" A short male voice called out to me angrily as I smiled. When I turned I saw a short male demon with minty hair and red eyes. He was weak, but he may be the key to locating her.
"She is my wife, she won't wake up. She is a human pregnant with my child you see," I started to explain kindly before he pointed his finger at me in anger. He sure did seem to have a short temper.
"Shut up, that is impossible! How did you find this place?-" he threatened before a petite woman with dark hair and lavender hair appeared behind him, instantly silencing him. I smiled at her serious appearance. I respected someone who could make someone silent by their presence alone.
"Ah, the infamous Lady Tamayo," I said with a smile on my face. If only I could turn her into Muzan, he would be proud of me. But unfortunately, my orders to keep her alive override that order.
"Blood demon art; magical aroma of daylight," she said as she scratched her arm and blood flowed down. There were suddenly flowers surrounding me and my brain felt foggy, as if it hindered my thinking. "Why have you come here?"
I felt compelled to tell her everything. I see, this spell would make weak demons spill their entire thought process. On me, however, I only wasn't able to speak a lie. I sighed, how sad she couldn't trust me when I actually spoke the truth.
"This is my wife. She won't wake up, she is pregnant with my child despite being a human. I heard you heal humans from demon inflictions," I stated as their eyes widened in surprise that I was telling the truth.
"Will you tell Muzan of this place if I heal her?" She asked me. I never cared much for detective work regardless, so it won't be a huge loss.
"No," I said flatly. She squinted, looking at you closely and sensing the truth of my words. The human side of you was strong, but any demon could also sense the growing child when they focused enough.
She nodded as the boy grudgingly opened a concealment portal and directed me to where she must have been hiding. She directed me to set you down on a medical futon as she began to examine you.
I sat on my knees and observed her every movement closely. She was gentle with you, making sure to ask me permission before she undressed your kimono to observe your stomach. She was aware I cared for you without me saying much, but she didn't say anything of it. When I saw your pregnant belly without the cover of the kimono, I couldn't believe how much it was growing in such a short time suddenly. It seemed double the size of just a few days ago.
"I always believed it to be possible for a human woman to conceive from a male demon, but to think it happened is quite surprising," she stated as she continued the exam on you. You started to appear pale again, almost agitated but she cast some sort of blood demon art to calm you.
"The baby demands the blood of humans and recently mine. This happened before but she was revived by my blood, it didn't work this time though," I explained as her eyes were wide in disbelief.
"So it already requires demonic blood to become stronger?" She said as she began to shine a light on your stomach, observing closely.
I was curious about what she was doing to you, but she seemed to know more than anyone else, even Muzan oddly. If she was healing humans from demonic injuries, I could see why he would want her captured so badly. Especially given the fact she seems to be able to prevent him from finding her with some sort of spell that prevents his connection with any demon.
"She will die if she continues like this, but I can heal her, but you must know something first," she spoke, finally looking me in the eyes.
"And what is that? I will heal her for any price!" I said more desperately than I meant to. The thought of your death pushed me over the edge as my emotions bubbled to the surface. This anxiety was something that I wasn't used to but I'm glad Muzan couldn't see this conversation.
"Your child is resistant to sunlight meaning Muzan will intend to consume them for himself once they are born," she explained in a tone of seriousness with a hint of sadness. My mouth hanged wide open at her words.
