Y/n POV

After a long journey we finally arrived in KingsLanding and entered in the Red Keep. I got off my horse as my squire took my horse away as mother came up to me and Joffrey and took us to her room to help us with our wounds. I went first as mother wiped off the blood from my hand and then dabbed it with some ointment and wrapped it before kissing it like she always does when I hurt myself in the training yard with uncle Jamie. She then went to Joffrey and wiped off the blood and dabbed it so it won't be infected making Joffrey winced. "Ow!" Joffrey said. "Please, it's nearly healed. Your sister didn't even flinch." Mother said to him.

"It's ugly." Joffrey said. "A king should have scars. You two fought off a direwolf. You're a warrior like your father." Mother told us as she wrapped Jeffrey's arm. "I'm not like him. I didn't fight off anything. Y/n was the one who did. It bit me and all I did was scream. And the two stark girls saw it, both of them." Joffrey explained to mother. I gave Joffrey as sad look before I stopped knowing he doesn't like it when I feel bad for him. Mother looks at him and then at me before looking back at Joffrey. "That's not true. You killed the beast. You only spared the girl because of the love your father bears her father." Mother told him

Me and Joffrey looked at each other confused before looking back at mother. "I didn't. . ." Joffrey started before getting interrupted by mother. "When Aerys Targaryen sat on the iron throne, your father was a rebal and a traitor. Someday you will sit on throne with Y/n by your side and the truth will be what you make it." Mother explained to us. "Do I have to marry her?" Joffrey asked her. "Yes. She's very beautiful and young. And if you don't like her, you only need to see her on formal occasions and when the time comes, to make little princes and princesses. And if you rather fuck painted whores, you'll fuck painted whores. And if you'd rather lie with noble virgins, so be it. You are my darling boy and the world will be exactly as you wanted to be." Mother said as I looked at my hand that will take a bit of time healing.

"Do something for the Stark girl." Mother told him. "I don't want to." Joffrey said. "No, but you will. The occasional kindness will spare you all sorts of trouble down the road." Mother said as Joffrey stood up and walked around as I looked at my older brother. "We allow the northerners too much power. They consider themselves our equals." Joffrey told us. Me and mother looked at each other before I stood up and walked to Joffrey. "How would you handle them?" I asked him hoping he doesn't want to kill the northerners when they have done nothing wrong. "I'll double their taxes and command them to supply 10,000 men to the royal army." Joffrey said.

I looked at him like he was insane but I don't say anything since he is the crown prince even if I know he is a bastard fathered by uncle Jamie. "A royal army?" Mother asked. "Why should every lord command his own men? It's primitive, no better than the hill tribes. We should have a standing army of men loyal to the crown, trained by experience soldiers instead of mob of peasants who've never held pikes in their lives." Joffrey told us. I looked over at him before asking a question. "And if the northerners rebel, brother?" I asked him. "I'd crush them. Seized Winterfell and install someone loyal to the realm as warden of the north. Uncle Kevan, maybe." Joffrey explained as I pour myself some wine and drank it.

"And these 10,000 northern troops would they fight for you or their lord?" Mother asked him as I set my cup down. "For me. I'm their king." Joffrey told her as mother just hummed. "But you just invaded their homeland, asked them to kill their brothers." Mother said. "I'm not asking." Joffrey said to her. "The north cannot be held not by an outsider. It's too big and too wild. And when the winter comes, the seven gods together couldn't save you and your royal army. A good king knows when to save his strength and when to destroy his enemies." Mother said as she stood up. "So you agree the Starks are enemies?" Joffrey asked her.

"Everyone who isn't us. Is an enemy." Mother said. Joffrey and mother then looked at me waiting for my answer. "I'm always by your side brother. I will kill anyone who gets in our way." I said making them smile at me but I know deep down that the only people who truly will rule is the Targaryen's and they're far from KingsLanding. I hope I will travel to find them and bend the knee to them that house Baratheon will stand by their side but I need my uncles out of the way for me to become the Lord of Storm's End. I left the room and walked around the halls of the Red Keep. I headed to the training yard where I see uncle Jamie training.

I just stood by and watch since my hand needs to be healed before I can pick up a sword. I then decided to go to the city and visit one of my bastard brothers named Gendry, he doesn't know I'm his sister yet but I will tell him in due time. I arrived at the smithy where he works and see him hammering away with sweat dripping down his face. "How's it going Gendry?" I asked him as he looked up a little startled before he smiled at me dropping his tool and went up and hugged me. "Y/n, it's been a while since you've last visited." Gendry said. "Yeah, sorry about that. Father wanted us to ride to Winterfell to get lord Stark to be his hand." I told him. "I'm guessing you just came back?" Gendry asked me.

"Yes and also my mother helped me with my hand." I said as I showed him my injured hand. "What happened?" He asked as he looked at my covered hand. "You know how starks has a direwolf on their sigil? Well one of the stark girls, Arya has a direwolf and I saw it bit my brother so I tried to take it off of him only to have it bite my hand. It doesn't hurt anymore though." I explained it to him. "Well, be careful. And also stop helping your brother he can fight his own battles." Gendry told me. "We both know he can't fight for anything." I said to him making him laugh. We talked for a bit before I headed back to the Red Keep.

I walked through the hall and see Ser Barristan. "Good evening, my prince." Ser Barristan greeted me. "Good evening, Ser." I greeted him back. I kept walking and see Varys walking up to me. "My prince, the two surviving Targaryens have been moving to Vaes Dorthrak." Varys told me as we continued our walk. "What's the special occasion?" I asked. "You are the first one to know this but Daenerys Targaryen is pregnant with the khal's child." Varys told me. I stopped walking shocked at the sudden news.

"When are you going to tell my father?" I asked him. "Soon, during the council meeting." Varys told me. I nodded before he left me. Varys has been my spy for the Targaryens for years, I needed to know where they are so when the time comes I will travel to meet them and let's hope they don't kill me.
