I was rocking Jr. to sleep as Ryan was watching ESPN.

"WOOOOO!" He screamed, jumping up and down. Then Jr. started screaming. I sucked my teeth and try to put his pacifier in his mouth but he didn't want it.

"THE GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS WON !"

"Ryan. You put him to bed now, since you woke him back fully up." I said, giving Jr to him.

"But Neeee." He whined. The doorbell rung and we looked at each other. He sucked his teeth and walked to the door.I smirked and began to clean up the mess he made. I guess when he got excited, he threw popcorn. Two beer bottles were laying hopelessly empty on the table. I cleaned up half of the mess and threw it all in the trash.

I walked into the entryway to grab the vacuum in the closet and Ryan was just standing there.I tried not make it obvious that I was looking but being 5'2 compared to his 5'10 height. Nahhh.

"Ry ?" I said. He turned around to me and I saw who he was staring at.

Megan.

I opened the door to face Megan. I just stared at her. 

"Ry ?"

I turned around to see Jhene standing there. Lord. I saw her glance at Megan. She walked up to me and wrapped her arms around me. Petty as fuck like Mila.

"So w-" I got cut off by Jhene.

"So why you here ?" She said, standing infront of me.

"I...uh......I..um..-"

"English please."

I rolled my eyes.

"I need to speak to him in private." She barked. 

"Lemme go before I catch an attitude." Jhene said, taking Jr. out of my hands and walking upstairs. I don't know what it is about those Chilombo women but they getting thick after they have two kids. Gahdamn.

"Umm, can I come in ?" Megan asked. I opened the door and let her in. She took off her coat and basically threw it at me. I looked at her like she was crazy and dropped that shit to the floor. I followed her into the living room and sat down.

"I see the living room changed since the last I stayed here." She said, with an attitude. If she keeps this up, then she can leave.

"Cut the bullshit. What do you want and why are you here ?" I snarled. She looked like I hurt her feelings.

She murmured something and looked down.

"I can't hear you."

"I have no where to go."

"Don't you got jobs , family or money ?"

"I know you know I cheated on you with that pastor, he took all the money out all my accounts. You know about my family. And no one wants to hire me right now." She said, crying. Females crying, man it makes me feel guilty. I sat beside her and awkwardly patted her back.

"Look, you can stay here. But only for a little while, aight ?"

"Thank you. Thank you." She said, jumping on my lap and giving me a big hug. I didn't wanna be a bitch and push her off hella hard, so I quickly hugged her back and then let her go.

SHe pulled away.

We both stared at each other in the eyes.  I quickly moved her off of me.

"Your room is the first on the left. Goodnight."

I ran up the steps as fast as I could and sped walked to the room I once shared with her and now currently shared with Jhene. I got under the covers and started thinking real deep about what was going on between us.

"Baby, you okay ?"

I nodded my head and she wrapped her arms around me. I kissed her forehead.

"Love you." She said, going back to sleep.

I just didn't say anything.

Because I was unsure at this point.
