"If you have something to resolve, why not come inside and I'll help?" The woman said. To Nova, the woman sounded nicer than she thought. Reminding her of someone. "Alecto? Will you be joining us?" The woman asked the creature.
The fury sunk her head further into her wing. "No, well I wouldn't think you would." She spoke. "She won't bother you as long as you are with me." Nova could tell she said that with a smile maybe a smirk. She thought about uncovering her eyes. "But it isn't as though she'll leave either, not if it means reporting that she failed to retrieve the son of Poseidon."
"How did you-" Percy started. "A forbidden child has been claimed, how long did you think that secret would be kept?" She smiled. "It's a pleasure to meet you, son of Poseidon, I'm Medusa." Nova remembered hearing stories about her. She was always instantly intrigued by the story.
Percy's head was slowly turning round to face the woman, "Percy don't!" Annabeth told him. He looked at her. Again Nova felt that weird feeling in her stomach. Jealousy. "She's a monster." Annabeth continued.
"We all choose who we make our monsters." The woman replies annoyed. "But right now, that one wants to tear you limb from limb." She adds referring to the fury. "And I'm offering you lunch, the choice is yours."
Nova walked towards the woman. The group looks at her like she's crazy. Medusa and Nova walk inside. Nova never looking up. "I think we can trust her," Percy said to the two that stayed back. "What?!" and "Dude!" Left their mouths.
"I can't explain it, I just.." His thoughts begin to drift. "My mum used to tell me her story, and the point is that she isn't what people think." He explained, "And I trust my mum. We also can't leave Nova."
"So I'm going in... you guys do what you want." Percy finished while walking inside. Grover and Annabeth quickly followed.

When the three got inside they saw all types of treats. Nova is nowhere to be found. "You must be hungry, I left snacks on the table while I get something proper going." Medusa told the three.
"You think it's safe to eat?" Percy asked Grover. "Percy I'm not gonna lie to you, I'm really hungry and I'm ready to take that chance." Grover commented.
"Thanks for coming." Percy says. Annabeth takes a deep breath. "This isn't the same for me as it is for you." She mumbled. "Why?" Percy asked.
"You're concerned I would hold a grudge against you, simply because you are a daughter of Athena." Medusa stated while walking in. Nova quickly followed while placing something on the table. "Oh! Hi guys!" She smiles at the three. Percy almost instantly smiles at the girl.
