It was a dismal night in New Orleans. Klaus was continuing to keep Marcel  busy, allowing Marcel to share with him what he was willing to share. While he did that, Kat and Elijah were at the church. She was talking with Davina, while Elijah was making sure no one would disturb them. They'd been there all day. She wasn't getting much through to her though, it seemed. At least, not right away. She was sure Davina would see it some time, though. She hoped, soon. She knew Klaus didn't have much patience with witches, after all.

Later that night, Kat was going down the stairs, when a familiar blonde walked into the plantation house. This was unexpected, since Kat didn't think she'd want anything to do with Klaus, but then again, she was here as well.

"What the bloody hell are you doing here?" she inquired.

"Originally? I came to Sophie, but until Marcel stops controlling witches, I can't ask Sophie for help yet. Then Elijah made a promise, so whether I want to be here or not, I don't have much of a choice. But I could ask you the same thing."

"You could say I came to my senses, whether I want to be here or not. Now, where are they?"

"Klaus is somewhere in the Quarter learning how Marcel runs the city. Elijah left for some business, so it's just me."

After a moment, the front door opened, and Rebekah turned around to see her least favorite brother.

"Little Sister. I should've known. I assume the six dead vampires were your doing?" he greeted her, having been there to hear about it from one of Marcel's guys, Thierry, at the compound.

"They were very rude, trying to victimize a poor innocent girl, just trying to find her way to the Quarter," she defended. "So sorry. Were they friends of yours? Oh, that's right. You don't have any friends."

She gave a smile at that last part.

"I do have friends. I have Marcel. You remember him, don't you?" After a moment, he gave a smile, before continuing. "Yes, of course you do. He fancies himself the king of the Quarter now, and he has these rules about killing vampires. It'll be fun to see what sort of punishment he comes up with for you."

"I don't care about Marcel or his rules," Rebekah replied.

"Why don't we leave the past in the past, and get on with the next plan of action. What do you say?" Kat interjected. She didn't want to see him mocking his sister's past love life. She knew their history together.

"Very well then," Klaus agreed with her.

"Elijah told me your plan to take apart Marcel's empire piece by piece," Rebekah stated to him.

"Yes. I have my plan, while Katerina takes care of our witch problem," he replied. "How successful were you, Katerina?"

"Davina's a work in progress, but she'll come around. I'll keep at it. Don't forget. I need Davina to stop being Marcel's weapon against the witches more than you do. As long as she keeps telling him who's doing magic, Sophie can't do the spell I need her to do. Elijah is off speaking to her as well. He thinks he can help her learn to control her magic. The Harvest was just prolonged. All the girls that died before Marcel stopped it...their magic went into Davina," Kat replied to him.

"Then work quicker. You said you two had a bond. Might I suggest you use it?" he replied.

"I am, but it's been years since she saw me before today. It'll take time. She needs to learn to trust me again after I tried persuading her that Marcel's using her, and since it's been so long," she explained to him.
