Austin's POV:
Time flies very fast. It's like yesterday when I came here and now, it's December. In the beginning, it wasn't easy, especially since Ally is there, but we learned to live together. We managed to keep the good relations. What we don't have is an idea for the project. None of us knows what the story should be about. I was thinking that maybe we could draw a story about a boy and a girl who have problems but they somehow solve them. It's so hard to do it without words. The drawing is the easiest part. I want to make clear art without any doubt from the reader's side, but this is almost impossible. How can I know that he or she will think the same way as me? There are different points of view, and I'm sure that whoever reads this will understand it differently. At least, I have Ally to help me. As a girl, she might have better ideas. My ideas are not very good. Well, we can ask Toby and Macy since they have the same task, but we have to deal with this alone. The benefit from all of this is that I can be with Ally. Most of the time, we'll be working, but I still prefer her. I don't want to work with another girl. I have no idea how I picked her name, but I'm glad that I did. At first, she wasn't happy about it, but later, everything was fine.
It's the weekend, so I don't have classes. Ally and I can use the time to start our project. We have around two months to finish it, but soon is our winter vacation and around the holidays, we won't have much time to work. Ally went to buy food. I don't know, but today I woke up in a weird mood. It's like I am forgetting something. It's not her birthday, that's for sure. Then I clucked it. On this day, two years ago, we started dating. That explains my mood. I wonder if she remembers this. I won't bring it up, because I don't know how she would feel. After all, I don't want to upset her. Ally has other things to worry about.
After half an hour, Ally came back to our dorm with a bag full of food. Who can eat all of this? She put it on my bed and went into the bathroom. I know that usually, girls take more time than boys do, but she was ten minutes there. Maybe there is a problem. I would love to go and check on her, but what if she is doing something? I can't walk in just like that. After all, I don't want to be in her personal space. I walked to the bathroom and knocked on the door.
- Ally, are you ok?
- Yes.
- Are you sure?
- Yes, don't worry.
Soon she came out with a fake smile on her face. There is definitely a problem. I don't expect her to tell me, and that's why I won't ask. She sat on my bed, got some food, and started eating. I didn't say anything and joined her. Both of us were eating silently. The thing is that I don't know what to tell her. We stayed like that for an hour. It's visible that something is bothering her, but I don't know what.
- Do you have any ideas about our project?
- Not yet. We can take a fairy tale and draw our own pictures.
- This is cheating. The story has to be original.
- Can we start it tomorrow? I'm in the mood for that right now.
- Sure. I was just wondering if you have an idea.
- No, I don't.
- It's ok. We have enough time.
- I'll take a nap. Wake me for dinner.
- Ok, no problem.
I waited for her to fall asleep and walked out. I haven't talked with my parents for a while. After all, I didn't want to wake her. I went into the backyard and called them. After the second ring, dad finally picked up the phone. Since I came here, we have used video chat. To be honest, it was my parents' idea.
