Chapter 3- When Will He Leave Me Alone?!
Scientist's POV
The Beta and Omega picked the deepest, darkest, and most secluded jail cell to put me in. They left me here to die. My hand cuffs covered in a chemical lethal to Werewolves. In no way would I die. I watched as the put an excessive amount of chains, bolts, and locks on the jail door. I continued to smirk as they put me in a straitjacket. I sat in the darkness of the cell, watching as they put on as many locks and bolts on as they wanted. I wouldn't be in here for loong. My eyes glow red with joy in the depressive darkness. This is the most fun I've had in ages. I listened for the sounds of slamming doors, counting ten in total. I began to calculate the dimensions of the door in my head to find the door’s pressure point. If I’m able to put enough weight on the pressure point, the whole cell will collapse. I smirked slightly, finding the point and committing it to memory as I completely calmed my body. I was easily able to slither out of the strait jacket. I threw the contraption across the cell. I put my hands on the pressure point, focusing my weight towards it. I used one of my many powers to make myself a bit heavier. I aimed all the weight at the pressure point and watched as the cell collapsed. I smiled, dusting myself off as I walked out of the cell.
I smirked at the bright sunlight. Worry not. I'm coming, my dear experiment.
Leone's POV
I hate sharing my mate with a blood-thirsty, soul-sucking vampire. But just for a while I'll have to. I looked at her sleeping form after our little argument she fell a sleep claiming she felt dead tired. As soon as she spoke the word 'dead' I felt my heart clench in my chest, worry filling me. I looked at the white-haired vampire from the corner of my gloweI
“Tell me something," I said, looking at Hail’s sleeping form.
“What?” he said, looking at me.
"How the hell did you get here?” I heard myself ask.
“I saw a figure holding my princess. Anger overtook me, and I got here as fast as I dared," he said, taking a few seconds to think. “At least now I know she was in the arms of someone safe," he said, touching Hail’s pale cheek.
“You saw us?” I asked, looking his way. He gave a slight nod in my direction. I smirked, watching his face turn a light pink. I never knew vampires could blush. “I never thought I would have to share my mate," I sighed.
“Nor did I. If Father could see me now! He’d have my head” he said, shaking his head.
“No one’s going to hurt you while I’m around," I growled, my fists balled at my sides. What did I just say? I looked over at him to see a shocked expression on his pale face, and I looked away from his, my hands crossed over my chest.
“What did you say?” he asked, his mouth gaping open.
“I’m not saying it again," I said, utterly angered with myself.
“Thank you," he said, making me look at him. What just happened to me? I lost control of my wolf for a few seconds and I'd said a few things I hadn't meant to. Do I mean them? I have no idea...
“STOP! Leave me alone!” Hail screamed, whimpering into the pillow.
“Don’t be afraid I- I mean, we are here," I muttered into her ear as I attempted to shake her awake. She sat up. her expression full of fright for a couple of seconds until she looked around. As soon as she noticed us, the expression on her face lightened into a bright smile.
“You were only dreaming," Eone said beside me. He reached out to stroke her cheek, attempting to comfort her.
“I’m fine,” she muttered, a hazy look in her eyes. She quickly sat up, allowing us to sit next to her.
