Chapter 5- The Power Of Dreams.

Leone's POV

“Wait up!” I heard someone shout behind me. I turned around to see Eone running towards me,

“I told you to stay here,” I said, looking at him.

“I will not stay here like a coward while you go out and fight,” he hissed.

“I’m not going to let either of you get hurt. Stay in the protection of the pack," I said, holding his his head to make sure he looked right at me.

“I’m going no matter what you have to say of it," he said, pulling his head out of my grasp. He began to walk towards the door.

“You're staying!” I said, pinning him to the wall, my arms at his sides. He rolled his eyes and ducked under my arms.

“No, no I'm not staying,” he said, walking towards the door. He let out a loud hiss as the sunlight hit him he rushed back inside, smoke coming from his skin. “Damn sun...” he hissed, walking away from the door.

“Guess you can’t come.” I smirked at him hoping he would stay.

“I’m still going to come," he said, fanning himself.

“Let’s go boys." I nodded towards the Beta and Omega, along with the best fighters from the pack. “Stay here and protect her. She’s sick and weak," I said to Eone. I let out a large breath. I towered over the other wolves. With a wave of my snout, we are off, with me at the head Beta, in the middle and Omega at the rear end. I allowed my wolf to take over, and it savored the sights and smells of the forest, adorning the feeling of his large black paws stomping against the hard forested ground. There's no better feeling.

______

I stood over the great that blocked off all the underground chambers. The lock has been broken and thrown away elsewhere.

“He’s not here, Alpha.” Beta Mike said.

“Where is he?” Omega Steve asked.

“Here I am, little puppy," a voice said. I couldn't track the sound it came from all over.

“Refer to your training!” I barked.

_____

All the other pack members I'd brought with me are either dead or knocked out or just plain missing. He chuckled from behind me.

“The big bad wolf is all alone," he muttered, a smirk on his face. He turned his back on me. Big mistake. I stood with my legs separated and pounced, aiming at his neck. A bolt of electricity flew from his his hand. It hit me in the chest, sending me flying with such force that I flew into the trees, breaking them in half. I pulled myself off the ground to look at him. “Stay down unless you wish to die a quick and painful death, I’be got go and get your little girl now. Sit and stay, little mutt," he hissed, the smirk still on his face.

“I’m not going to sit around and let my mate be captured without a fight!” I growled, forcing myself up.

“My experiment worked better than I could have ever hoped," he said, laughing once again. His laugh hit me at all angles, causing my head to hurt and my body to ache. I felt myself blacking out.

“Get away from him!”  I voice shouted just before the darkness swallowed me whole.
