Chapter 11

Y/n's POV

I looked at Darry with a small smile, "Listen, I'll tell you guys eventually about the book. But for right now, I'm a bit behind schedule." I said with a nervous chuckle. Darry nodded his head and spoke with a gentle voice, "Alright, I'll let you go do your things. But please let us know as soon as possible." And then he left to go back with the boys. I watched him walk away for a second until I realized I had to get moving. 

I went to my room and got the book. I put the book in a safe and secret place where they won't be able to find it. I left my room and walked to my small studio room (I don't remember what I called it, but it was the room she made a video in). I walked in and looked around for a few minutes. I found the box of fan mail and went through it to look for the person who sent me the book. "Gotcha," I said to myself as I found a small box that used to have the book in. I checked the box to see if I could find anything about the person who sent it but found nothing. I sighed as I put it away and left the studio.

As soon as I walked out I saw Steve outside the door. "Uhh can I help you?" I asked confused as I crossed my arms. Steve grinned, "Nah, I was wandering around. Also, what were you doing in that room?" He asked suspiciously. I raised an eyebrow at him, "This is my house. Am I not allowed to walk around in my own house?" I asked. Steve's eyes slightly widened, it was as if he was a deer in headlights, "Yeah, I was just curious you know." He said a bit suspiciously. I roll my eyes at him, "Alright, well I'm going to my room." I said and walked away.

Steve's POV

I watched Y/n walk away as I was nearly caught. As soon as she was out of sight, the others came out of a corner. "So what did she say?" Asked Soda, "Weren't you listening?" I asked him. The others shook their head, "We couldn't hear you at all," Darry said, "But seriously, what did she say?" He added. I roll my eyes at them, "Nothing. She dodged the question and the tables turned." I said. Dally raised an eyebrow, "You mean she asked you what you were doing?" He guessed. I shrug, "Kinda. All she did was ask me if she couldn't walk around her own home. But I think she got a bit sus of me." I said. They all nodded their heads, "Alright, well we have to find that book, but how?" Pony asked. 

Darry looked at him, "You're right. I could keep her distracted. Also, I think she might have to go to the store to buy us some stuff we need." Darry said. "That's right superman! I think you should go with her and distract her." Two-Bit said. The rest of us nodded our head, "Seems like a good plan." I said, "But what if she finds out? What if she kicks us out of her house?" Johnny added. "Oh. Uh, I don't know." Darry said.
