1. 2. 3. 4.

The bell rings.

Freedom!

You quickly picked up your supplies. Stuffing your school laptop into your bag, ready to leave this hell called school. You flung the bookbag over your shoulder and quickly left the room.

You walked down the street. Familiar, almost muscle memory to know which turn to take to make it to your house. Allowing you to get stuck inside your own imagination, again. A habit you did when you needed an escape. Which was almost always, which may be why your grades are slipping. Maybe.

You stop as you make it to your home door. Taking the key from your lanyard and unlocking your door.

You look around the house for a while. No parents. They must still be out with friends or at work. Eh, just more free time for you. You knew exactly what you wanted to do.

You quickly rush to your room. Turning to your bookshelf. Grazing your hand over the manga you have. Toilet Bound Hanako-Kun, puella modoka magica.. and your favorite, Bungo Stray Dogs.

You pick up your favorite volume. God, wasn't this your 5000th time reading the series? Not to mention how many times you've watched the anime.

Bungo stray dogs was your escape. Being able to imagine yourself in the world of it was always good. Away from having parents that always worked and drinked, away from the kids from school, away from everything. You tap the page.

4 times.

Then you turn it.

You wonder how long this stupid story can keep you alive. No, not alive. Breathing. Your just breathing, not living. And you hated that.

You hated alot of things.

Your hand touches the edge of the building. You adjust your position, sitting on the edge. The stone was damp. It rained yesterday. You think. Or were you imagining it?
