Nathan looked up at her in surprise. "I guess fate brought us back together." She whispered. "I.. guess so." Nathan replied, awkwardly.
"Do you two know each other or something?" Natalie asked. "Yeah." Joanna responded. "We used to be friends before he moved away, and it turns that he's apparently moved back."
Things were definitely going to be awkward between them, he could just sense it.
"Are you coming, or what?" Xander asked. "I'm coming, I'm coming." Nathan answered. "I'd better go." "Right." Joanna replied. "See you next week?" "Yeah." Nathan responded. "See you next week."
During the car ride, Nathan had an aching headache, and soon, he was plummeted into a pool of blackness. "What's going on?" He asked, hoping someone would respond. "Secrets will be revealed." A voice answered. "You and your brother are in grave danger." "What kind of danger?" Nathan asked.
"I do not know." The voice replied. "But it is danger nonetheless." "Should I tell him?" Nathan asked. "About the danger?" "Yes." The voice responded. "He would do well to know of the impending doom that is coming if you two cannot control your powers." "What powers?" Nathan asked in surprise. "You will find out all in due time Nathanael." The voice answered, mysteriously. "I promise, and tell your brother about the powers as well."
He started breathing heavily. "What happened?!" Xander asked, panicking. "I'll tell you at home." Nathan replied. Xander nodded in response.

When the two brothers got back home, they quickly ran into Nathan's room. "Okay, so, what's going on?" Xander asked. "What don't you want mom to know about?" Nathan took a deep breath. "We're in danger." He said, slowly before meeting his brother's gaze. "Big danger." Xander's light blue eyes went wide. "You can't tell mom." Nathan continued. "At least not yet." Xander nodded, slowly.
"We also have powers." Nathan finished. "But I don't know what they are yet." "What are we, superheroes?" Xander asked. "Not exactly, but something tells me we're gonna have to use them here soon." Nathan answered. "How soon?" Xander asked, nervously. Nathan went silent for a few minutes before saying:
"I don't know."
