Sun and Moon

Part One : Backstory.

I have always longed for the sun, wanted to be close to her. Just seeing her beauty I was shook, she was gorgeous. We didn't see each other often but when it did happen it is always a very happy moment. When we were younger, near the dinosaur age, we were able to speak with each other no problem because there was barely any noise on Earth but when the asteroid struck and the humans started to inhabit it, the noise of fighting, arguing, bombing, terrorizing and just plain rudeness of humans made us not be able to hear each other. As we grew older I just wanted to speak with her again, to hear her beautiful voice once more. 

But when people started to fight for peace and stopped trying to fight and instead resolve for a small portion of time I was able to hear her for the first time in so many long years! "Hi! Uh hi Sun!" I spoke shyly but loud, over the noise. I could see that the sun was shocked by hearing me, she was so cool "Hi Moon! It's been so long! What is your number?" She asked. "It's 12367845" I spoke, in a minute or two I got a notification from an unknown number. "Are you 02785634?" "Yeah! I am!" She smiled. When I got the "yes" from her I sent a photo of me saying hello, a few weeks passed for us and a few years for them and as time flew by we spoke through text a lot. I fell more and more in love with her as she sent photos of herself in funny poses. I giggled softly as I saw them, clearly in love with her. I just love how she smiles and her personality! She is perfect and I feel so attracted to her!!!

I don't think she likes me back but I like her, if she doesn't like me then we could be friends and I'd be fine with that. I will love her no matter what. I text her this : "Hi! How are you? By the way you're super pretty!" I send it and put my phone down, contemplating what I just sent, feeling first regretful then super excited the then nervous then I got a notification on my phone so I checked it out and it was from Sun "Aww you are so kind! You are super elegant and I am doing great hbu?" "Good! I'm glad that you're happy! Thanks." I looked at her message over and over again, blushing slightly as I do. I just got compliments from the best looking person I have ever seen, and I have seen Saturn, mercury and mars. 

I never felt this way about other planets or anything. It was a new feeling, and I loved the feeling of being in love. Is this why humans marry each other and kiss and hug and do the cha cha slide? It was weird that people might actually do that thing with others But I am starting to understand about the feeling better, it was a very relaxing and carefree calm feeling, safety and very joyful. Like I wanted to be close to her and hug and kiss her all over. Wanting to be close because it brings comfort.

HI it's me the author of this story and I just wanted to say that this entire idea was from the song "The Moon Will Sing by The Crane Wives" the line I loved you like the sun and the name of it really inspired me to write this.
