Sun and Moon

Part three : Their Jobs

It is sad to see a human alone and sad. But it's just life, I get a notification on my phone and I see it's from Sun! No other planet except Mercury texts me. Sun texted "Morning Moon! What did you dream of?" I froze up, should I tell her the real thing or something different? I'll just lie for now. "I dreamed of some stars (stars are basically pets in this universe and ik the sun is a star just ignore it for now) jumping around and playing. They were moving across the sky for humans to see! But what did you dream of?" "Oh I dreamed of me shining brightly and being able to talk to humans when they are down!" "Wow! That dreams sounds fun! You're so lucky Sun!" "I am not that lucky but thank you!" "You're welcome Sun!" I texted, we texted literally every day! I really just enjoy talking to her, she is so kind! I know I keep saying that but I actually can't stop! Everyday I think about her and me. It's weird I really can't get work done helping people cheer up in the night when she is in my mind!

But enough about her, the way I work my job is the following, when the happy day goes away, people stop masking their true feelings so that's where I come in, cheering them up when everyone is asleep, holding them in my arms even if I am so many miles away. I just help them by being there, that's also when people recharge so it is really peaceful for the humans to cry and hug their stuffed animals, getting out their bad emotions for the day and sleeping after. It's really sad about how humans do it but I guess it works.

I'll text Sun about her job and ask her what she does. . . . Done. Sun texted back this : "My job consists of giving joy by showing my shine, cheering them up with my smile. I help them not die by giving them their needed vitamins, so I am pretty important to them, that's why when I sleep they get a bit more sad. Sometimes people don't enjoy going out and when that happens in the winter I shine extra bright to shine through their windows. My job is very fun but it gets tiring quick in the winter so that's why I let it snow and rain, it lets me sleep because of the clouds and also I don't want plants to die when I let it rain in the summer. The fall I do less because people are going outside a lot but that's all Moon!"

Her job is super different from mine! Also I forgot to mention in the winter I have to work hard because of people's seasonal depression so it does get tiring but on one side there is winter the other summer so I can work less on summer because people are usually happier there, in fall I have to do less work, like the sun said but my reason is different. People are outside way more because of the perfect weather, peacefully environment and they take walks to calm them down instead of staying inside so less caring for them in the emotional sense because they don't feel down to much. Besides for the summer lovers.
