Bryant and Matteo have been Bestfriends since they we're born, their Mothers loved seeing them hanging out with each other. Moving on in the Present the two boys we're running down the road, as they we're almost LATE to school.

BRYANT'S POV: [5:30pm]

The bell rang, signaling that it was time to go home, Me and Matteo immediately took our bags and rushed outside the school gate, and walked towards of where the street stands of snacks were. Our other best friend Carlos Fred Santos couldn't come walk home with us, his mother had to pick him up early because him and his family are going to have a family dinner at a fancy restaurant, Good for him.

We we're eating kwek kwek [a filipino street snack], because we were hungry after all the school work earlier, and I must've zoned out while I was eating.

"Oi! Yant! hurry up finishing your kwek kwek we gotta go home, our parents might scold us!" Matteo yells, as I immediately snapped back to reality.

"Oh yeah! sorry bro!" i immediately finished my snack, and threw the cup away.

As Matt and i walked home, he placed his arms around my shoulder, and i felt my cheeks get hot.

'oh no, do i feel sick?! or........no shit! thats impossible!'

i thought to myself, and i immediately shook my head trying to get it off my mind.

'Since when do i feel do i feel this way about him?! No wonder Ate Ki keeps teasing me!'

"Yo Yant! are you alright?" Matteo asked, getting worried.

"Ah yes! I'm fine!"

"Okaaaayyy! if you say soooo" Matteo said in a teasing manner smirking, he moved closer to my face as i backed away, nervously. After all of that stress because of school earlier, he even has time to tease me? Tch, typical Matteo Cruz!

He laughed loudly as i perked up, confused. "why, are you laughing?"

"oh its nothing! i'm just playin' with you!" Matteo said, laughing it off.

we stopped in front of his houses' gate, our houses we're just in front of each other.

"Good night! Yani! I lab youuuuu!" Matt said teasingly and laughing hysterically, while opening the gate.

"yeah yeah, whatever goodnight, Cruz!" I rolled my eyes, tired of today's events.

"Hmph! thats what i get? my last name?" Matteo pouted, his shoulders slumping like how a child does.
