The next day, Travis sat on the end of his bed. Sighing, "I'm such an idiot.. I had a feeling this would happen. Why can't I just be what everyone wanted me to be?". A frown fell on his face, knowing how disappointed his father would be. "I want to like girls. I want to like girls..." He mumbled his face falling in his hands.

"So... Are you gonna keep crying, or are you gonna apologize?" Aaron said leaning on the doorway. "AARON? WHERE DID YOU COME FROM?" Travis said in shock. The werewolf gave him a look and finally, Travis pushed himself up. "I'm going, I'm going."

Aphmau discussed a meeting spot for them both to talk, alone. So Travis made his way there, it was Aphmau's old Maid Cafe, now reimagined and owned by someone else. He walked into the Cafe, dread rising in him. As he spotted Zane he made his way over reluctantly.

"...Zane?" Travis asked sitting beside him. "Out of all places, this is where she wanted us to meet." Zane grumbled. Travis stared for a moment, he could tell he was hurt. "Look... I'm sorry, to be honest... I knew... I knew it would be a guy." Travis admitted, his shoulders relaxing. "I just forced myself into believing it wouldn't be." Zane listened, refusing to look at him. Silence fell upon them, making Travis feel even worse. "You're not much of a talker are you?" He chuckled slightly trying to lighten the mood.

"Don't go acting like what happened didn't happen." Zane finally said. "Well, I said I'm sorry!" Travis said confused. "Okay." Was all Zane said, crossing his arms. A cheery waitress walked up to them, instantly reading the situation. "Zane, here's the cupcakes you ordered. On the house!" She smiled, walking off. Zane instantly lit up as he turned to see his favorite desert. "Aw, Can I have one?" Travis asked. Zane instantly glared at him, pulling the plate closer to him.

Travis fell silent. "Chocolate cupcakes are my favorite.", He chuckled. Zane blinked, "Mine too.." He said hesitantly as he began to eat one. "Ugh." The raven-haired boy groaned as he finally passed one to Travis. "You don't deserve my kindness." He then said with an 'edgy' tone.

"Okay.." Travis said awkwardly. "But thank you."

Once that was over, They decided to just walk around instead. Talking about their interests and formally introducing themselves. "So why do you think it's two birds?" Zane asked, looking at his wrist. "Can I tell you a secret?" Travis asked in a hushed tone. Zane looked at him, and Travis chuckled. "For the longest time I... I thought my soulmate was myself because I study birds and well... Our mark is a raven and a dove!" Zane blinked before bursting out into laughter. "THAT IS SO PATHETIC!" "Hey! Come on.." Travis said embarrassed.

"How long are you in town?" Travis asked. Zane remained silent for a few moments, "Probably not long since... You know." He mumbled. "What? No! I don't... I don't want to push you away." He said stopping and looking at Zane. "Well, judging by the situation you didn't look very happy to see me." He shrugged. Travis frowned, "Please. Give me a chance, we got off to a bad start but.. You're my soulmate... There's no changing that." Travis said taking a step closer to him. Zane backed up, glaring at Travis. "Whatever, but I need to go home sometime."

Travis smiled, "So you'll stay?" He asked. Zane nodded, continuing his walk.
