It's been a month since me and Edot started dating, and he finally wanna go on a date. Our relationship been doing good so far we hung out everyday but we never got time alone. I was in my room changing. When I was finished changing I played my playlist on shuffle and did my hair. I went to my bathroom before taking a picture posting it on my Instagram.

I texted Edot and told him I was ready for him to pick me up before laying down on my bed while scrolling on tiktok. "Man I look good." I said randomly. "Bitchh ahahaaaah oh my god." I said laughing at a tiktok before running downstairs to my brother. "Oh my goddd Mari look at this." I said showing him the girl getting her wig snatched off. "Dayum." He said before covering his mouth shaking his head. "That's crazy." He added on as we both laughed. "No cause I was-." I said before someone knocked on the door. "Uh uh who is it." I yelled the last three words. "Dotty." He said baking me look at my brother blushing and smiling I was trying not to blush so he couldn't see me like that. "I finally opened the door revealing edot. He pulled me into a tight hug, his cold chains hitting my forehead the bracelet on his wrist pressing on my waist. " hey." I said when we pulled away. "Wassup." He said before he reached down kissing me on my lips the butterflies growing in my stomach. "Y'all done." Mari said looking at us disgusted. "nah." Edot said kissing me deeper than before my stomach twisting up. "Now we done." He said licking his lips. "Nasty ass niggas." He said still disgusted shaking his head. "Ma I'm out with edot." I yelled before leaving with Edot.
We got in the car waiting for like a minute or two. "You wanna put on ya music." He asked grabbing my left hand looking at me. "yeah." I said looking away not being able to hold eye contact. I was usually good at holding eye contact but with him. He reversed his car out the parking spot before driving off with his left hand holding mines with his right. I connected my playlist to his car shuffling it 'Snooze' by sza playing first making me sing it. "Obsessed." He said getting to a red light. "I'm not obsessed nigga." I said staring at his features and it look like he was looking at mine. "You look..pretty." He said surprising me cause he wasn't the relationship type. "Thank you." I said looking down smiling. He lifted my chin up kissing me before the light turned green making us pull apart.
We pulled up in a parking . "Come on." He said before we got out walking into the movies it smelling like popcorn. "what you tryna get." He asked in the line grabbing my hand pulling me closer to him. "Popcorn and a orange fanta." I said. "What y'all want." This ghetto ass light skin said making me and Edot mug her. "Uhh a fanta a sprite and a large bucket of popcorn." He said. "Alright." she said playing with her long ass fake eye lashes. She said something to the boy with a afro making him make our stuff. "Here y'all go." The boy said staring me down while giving Edot the stuff making Edot grab my hand tighter. "Cmon." He said taking me down the hall while he looked at the room numbers. We walked into the movie room hearing the ads and trailers play and he led us to our seats in the back.
