ADDISON HAD requested for Caprice to help out with JULIE PHILLIPS, a pregnant patient. She was having twins, but the twins have twin to twin transfusion syndrome. So, its all hands on deck. MEREDITH GREY was also requested, some would say she was a third wheel. Well, only caprice would.
"Why are you wearing pink?" Caprice looked up at addison, who didn't even look down or smile at the sound of caprice's voice. And why would she?
"Because i can" she held her head high, trying to hint to caprice that she doesn't want the same friendship from 12 years ago back.
"Well pink is not YOUR COLOUR, it dulls your hair, you should wear darker colours" and caprice didn't mean for that to sound like such an insult, it just came out that way.
"That is rude Doctor Sloan!" Meredith spoke up. See? Third wheel.
The three doctors filed into the room where julie was waiting, "Hello Mrs Phillips, I'm doctor Shepherd, and this is doctor sloan and doctor grey"
Shepherd. Caprice had no idea that her two best friends were married. The woman she loves, and her only friend in Seattle. Married.
She tried swallowing the lump in her throat, and tried holding back the forming tears, but she couldn't keep it in. "I'm gonna- i need a uhm- yeah" and with that, she left the room, inconveniently bumping into derek, "when did you plan on telling me you were married? To Addison!"
Derek felt a pang of guilt. He felt bad for not telling her, really, but it wasn't something he thought she'd take particularly well. "I don't know"
"I'm in love with her! I never stopped loving her, you of all people should know that! Im going home" she wasn't joking either, she genuinely walked out of the hospital, feeling sorry for herself.
Disappointed in the fact that the only person she has ever truly loved, is married.
