I struggle against the sticky, white threads, pleading for escape. Every time I pull free of one though, I get caught against two more. I yank and tug, about ready to chew my own limbs off just to be safe from this death trap.
Eventually I give up, going still. The trap keeps moving though. Springing with every step of the killer. I look up and see it; eight, gangly legs danced across the sticky coating, coming closer to me with every step. It stops, looming over me, casting terrifying shadows I once thought would only ever plague my nightmares.
I find renewed strength and begin to struggle once more, but the murderer seems calm as it takes more of the web and begins to wrap it around me creating an inescapable cocoon.
I scream, as teeth pierce me. I beg, plead with it to stop, but I soon grow lightheaded. I feel lighter, weaker. I stop moving, stop struggling, and accept my fate.
Prompt: Trapped
