Chapter 15 - A new pet

One day Amy was peacefully talking with Kuendy. They were talking about few different things. Then a topic started:

- I just reminded myself... Recently the principal got this idea for our school's students that are from royal families to tell him their ideas to make the next Monday different, and the other students had to vote which idea is the best. The idea that had the most votes will actualy happen on Monday after this week's sunday. The voting was yesterday.

- Oh, really? - Amy was a bit confused by this. - Can I know which idea won?

- Russell's idea won. His idea was that the students will bring their pets to school, and that the school staff might join if they want to. And for people who had the responsibility to bring their pets with them here while moving here it will be easier.

- Oh, that sounds interesting - Amy said. - But, does anyone here has a pet?

- Ofcourse - Kuendy smiled. - I have a duck, Russell has a phoenix, Deuce has a cat, Hebi has a sneak, and Percy has an owl. Some other students also have pets, but you don't know them.

- I see that most of people that I know here have birds as pets - Amy laughed. - It's quite sad that I don't have a pet at all.

- Yeah, it's quite sad - Kuendy said, but then he got an idea. - I have an idea. I have a friend that has lots of pets. I think that if you will get along with her and will politely ask her, she will let you adopt one of them.

- That's a quite interesting idea - Amy smiled. - Could you please bring me to her?

- Ofcourse.

Kuendy went with Amy to the friend of his that he was talking about. She was in a garden that was only for her and her pets during the time she was staying at school.

She had: long, curly, brown hair, dull pink eyes, a fair skintone, and red wings. She was wearing: a dark dull dress, dark gray shorts, and purple boots.

- Hello Megan - Kuendy greeted his friend.

- Oh! - Megan wasn't expecting them to come. - Your majesty. I wasn't expecting you here today. Do you need anything?

- Listen... I would like to ask you for something... Do you remember Amy? She was one of the guests of honor on my last occasionless party.

- Oh, hello - Megan just realised that Amy was also there. - Yes, I remember her. It's nice to see you again.

- It's nice to see you too - Amy said.

- Listen Megan, I have something to tell you... Do you remember how on monday we decided that on the next monday people who have pets will have to bring them to school?

- Yes, I remember about it - Megan smiled. - I was thinking about which one of my pets I should take.

- Listen... Do you think you could let Amy adopt one of them?

- Ofcourse - Megan smiled. - But 1st. I would have to ask her few questions.

- Great - that made Kuendy a bit happier. - Then I'm not going to bother the twqo of you. Have fun.

Then Kuendy left the garden. Megan then came up to Amy and asked:

- So, let's make some things clear. What kind of pet would you like?

- I don't want it to be agressive, I don't want it to be too big, and I would like to be able to at least pet it.

- Okay, I can find you a pet like this - Megan said and then showed Amy the pets that meet her requirements. - These pets meet your requirements. There's a lot of dogs, cats, some birds, guinea pigs. There's everything you you could possibly want.

Amy looked at all of them. She was unable to chooes. All of them were cute in their own way, but then she noticed the most cute one. It was a little sheep that was calmly eating some grass.

- Do you think I could have that sheep over there? - Amy asked pointing at the sheep.

- Oh! Yes, you can.

The animals went somewhere else, and Megan called the sheep.

- This is Mary. She's one of the most friendly sheeps that I have.

- Okay, so, can I have her? - Amy asked.

- Ofcourse - Megan agreed. - You don't have to pay me. I'm giving you her for free.

Amy thanked Megan and left with the little sheep that followed her on its own. She "got along" with Mary immediately the same day.

On Monday many people were quite jealous that Amyhad such a fluffy sheep, but nobody was too bothered with that.
