The Dragon King

INTO THE UNKNOWN/ADOPTION

The ninja get back onto the bounty and go to the control room to talk about how they want to do this.

"So are we all going to go or are we going to have at least one person stay behind?" Asked Cole

"Well I think we should all go, but I am only saying that because we all really miss Lloyd" said Nya

"I second we all go" said Jay

"You're only saying that because you want to be with Nya and not left only here" said Cole, while Kai agreed with him.

"That's not true" whines Jay

"Sure sure buddy what ever floats your boat" said Kai

"Do I have to ask you idiots to stop fighting again"

"No Nya" said the three

Sighing Nya says "Zane, Pixel what do you think we should do"

"I think we should all go" said Zane

"I would have to agree" said Pixel looking at her boyfriend.

Clapping his hands together and rubbing them Kai says "when are we going to leave cause I can't wait to see Lloyd"

"Haha Kai I know you're excited about getting him back, but please calm down"

"Fine I will sis, but you are just as excited as I am"

"Oh you know it" Nya said smiling exited to get her little brother back.

"Well we should sleep for the night and get ready first thing in the morning" said Zane

Everyone agreed and headed off to their respective rooms.

On Lloyd end he has been extremely cautious when knights from the south kingdom since that first encounter two years ago.

Today Lloyd was walking around the forest watching for travellers that may need his help.

Lloyd then heard the sound of a little kid crying. Worried he runs to the sound and once he gets there he finds a little girl on her knees crying over what might have been her parents.

Lloyd walks up to the girl being careful not to spook her. He then says "little girl are you ok"

The little girl turns around scared when she sees Lloyd cause of his hood and mask.

Lloyd then gets on his knees in front of the girl to show her that he is not scary.

"Hey I won't hurt you ok. Have you heard of the dragon king before"

The girl nods her head and then Lloyd continues saying "well I am the dragon king"

The girl then looks at Lloyd in awe and says "the story's are true" she gets up and walks to Lloyd putting a hand on his covered face and said "I have heard many stories of you and think you are really cool"

Lloyd then chuckles saying "enough about me, tell me about yourself"

The girl then looks down sad. Lloyd then gets worried saying "you don't have to tell me if it hurts to talk about"

"No it ok king. My name is Kaida and I am 7 years old"

"That's a nice name"

"Thank you, but mommy and daddy are gone"
