Julie and I continued to walk into the cave. We hear people screaming and yelling. Blood everywhere and bodies around. It was only 20 minutes in and Julie and I got half way into the cave with no problems. Julie lit a fire for us as we gotten deeper, Julie kept feeling something around us. I then stopped.

Julie " What is wrong?"
Me " Wait.."

I then backed up and dropped Julie to the ground, then a big bright light appeared, exploding the wall behind us. I turned to see the nobles daughters Lillian along with two other people.

Lillian " we can finally get rid of you two once and for all!"

I looked at them and then at Julie who was terrified, well there goes a easy trip to a okay life.

Lillian " We were going to let you be til after the ceremony but there is no way Valerie died that fast unless you did something to her."

Lillian and her friends began to come after me and Julie I blocked them as Julie dodged there hits. I ran across to attack Lillian who was using barrier magic to attack me. Julie began to heal me and also block .

Lillian. " JUST DIE ALREADY!"

As the fight continued a suddenly rumble appeared, Julie began to scream. We both turned to see two of Lillians friends getting eaten by a huge troll, it was devouring its body and parts of its body fell. Julie slowly moved away. I looked all shocked, they should have been in the lower levels. What is it doing here?
That is right Lillian and her friends kept using a huge amount of mana to attack us, it must have lured it up here. Lillian decided to fight it. I tried to stop her, but she denied saying it was not that strong. I looked at her and just went to grab Julie and ran.

Julie " But!--"

Lillian began to fight the troll. Crazy she is, her mana isn't fully developed so the outcome of this battle is that she will die. At least one less person to deal with. As we ran away, we heard Lillian screaming and asking for help ask she was getting devoured. Julie was watching it all as I ran with her. Wicked people in this world get what they deserve in the end. Acouple moments later, I lay Julie down after I checked if the coast was cleared. We both sat down. In the corner. Well, this wasn't a part of the plan.. Julie " What now?"
Me " Well, now We have no choice but to fight now. The upper monsters are up here now. And we need to get down. To the bottom."
Julie " Isn't there two more floors to get down?"
Me " Yes, they are supposed to be more dangerous, but since I can tell, Noone got to the bottom yet because of the trolls. We have a chance. "
Julie " We still know where the first exit is, right?"
Me " Yes, it's a long way, but we should be able to get there if we use our mana less only use a lot when needed."
Julie " okay Understood "
