Soph was packing for her quest, putting as many supplies as possible in her small backpack. She brought 1 nice outfit, 1 comfy/ casual outfit, and supplies that might be needed. Once she was done she saw Percy talking to Luke, and she decided to go join them now that she was done with her packing.

"Hey Perce, hey Luke" Soph greeted.

"Hey Soph!" Percy said looking happy to see her and happy to hear her use the nickname for him again.

She looked up as Luke waved to her.

"You ready to go meet up with Grover and Annabeth?" Soph asked as she looked at the time and showed that it was almost time to go.

"Ya c'mon I think Annabeth is at the big tree that she's always with," he stated which gave Soph the impression that he didn't exactly know the story with Thalia, so she just didn't mention it.

They walked over to see Grover and Annabeth together near the big tree that looms over camp-half blood.

"She's really going to miss that tree won't she," Percy said to Soph and Grover.

Grover stepped in and started to explain to Percy "When Annabeth first arrived here with Thalia and Luke. They were being chased by monsters, agents of Hades. Furies."

"Like Mrs. Dodds?" Percy asked.

"Yes, one was our algebra teacher, Alecto. Thalia turned back to fight to buy her friends sometime. Her satyr protector tried to stop her but she wouldn't listen. So at the last moment...Zeus intervened to save her life and changed form." Grover continued.

"The most powerful being in the universe's best idea was to save his daughter's life, was turning her into a tree?" Percy questioned with some sass in his voice.

"She was the bravest demigod I ever knew" Annabeth declared passionately looking directly at Percy "She fought valiantly, and she met a hero's fate."

"She met a pinecones fate." The blonde boy commented, Soph looked right into his eyes trying to make sure he knew that what he just said was incredibly stupid. The other two just had a look of disbelief on their face.

*time skip*

"There is no way this is what sacred smells like," Percy complained as they sat in the very back of a disgusting-smelling bus. Soph was sitting next to them looking out the window, tired wanting to take a quick nap on the bus.

Percy and Annabeth continued to argue constantly bickering with each other, as Soph and Grover gave each other looks to communicate how stupid they thought their 'arguments' were.

Soph just wanted the two to shut up so she put her hand on Percy's arm to tell him that they're arguing had lasted long enough. Percy being as oblivious as ever doesn't notice, so Soph just puts her head on his shoulder knowing that would capture his attention. And she wasn't wrong.

Percy momentarily freaked out seeing the girl he so desperately wanted to just kiss, laying her head on his shoulder. She looked peaceful as she closed her eyes in an attempt to fall asleep.

The blonde boy started to get flustered as he went red pretty quickly, he felt the heat of her body against his and he started to calm down trying not to wake up Soph, even not moving his hands.

Eventually, she went into a deep slumber where a couple of hand movements wouldn't wake her up. He riskily put his head on top of hers, attempting to fall asleep just like she did, but he couldn't. All that was in his head was Soph, it was normal for him to think about her constantly but with her head resting against his shoulder, it was like a rush of adrenaline.

"Okay, I'm going to get us some snacks" Annabeth declared.

Percy was thinking about offering to come with her, the back of the bus smelled after all but then he remembered Soph calmly resting on his shoulder and he was afraid if he left the moment there wouldn't be one like this ever again.

"Chips and sodas okay with you guys?" She asked Grover and Percy, except she got a response from Soph.

"Mhmmm" she mumbled.

"Good morning Sophie," Annabeth commented dryly, as she walked away to get snacks for the 3 of them.

That left Soph, Grover, and Percy alone in silence, until Grover spoke up,

"So what is even going on between you two?" He teased.

Soph and Percy looked at each other, embarrassed,

"Nothing.." Soph claimed.

"Didn't seem like nothing when Sophie had her head rested on top of Percy's shoulder, and the way you guys are always around each other, and not to mention that you guys look at each other basically with heart eyes." Grover went on.

"No it really is nothing, Grover" Percy reassured him.

Nothing? Soph thought, maybe she really was delusional for thinking that he might've liked her. Or maybe he's just covering, or maybe he meant it? UGH, Soph thought, she hated liking a boy so much, the overthinking, the mixed signals, everything (relatable.)

"Okayyy" Grover said in a sarcastic tone not believing them.

Soph buried her head in her hands because she knew how quickly she got red, over things like this, that was one of the many things Percy loved about her.

After a little, Soph noticed a panicked look on Annabeth's as she came towards them.

"Guys you need to open that window! Now!" The dark-haired girl urgently shouted. The three were quickly confused because they'd never seen Annabeth truly scared.

"I don't think these windows are supposed to..." Grover trailed off when he saw a fury quickly approaching them, they all quickly became as panicked as Annabeth. They all pushed open the window with panic.

Suddenly another fury flew right through the window. Without thinking Annabeth slashed it, the fury vaporizing into the air. The fear in her eyes couldn't even be described.

The group as fast as possible ran out, to try to get to safety.

They started on a woodland area hiking to their destination, trying to process what just happened.  

a/n- Thought this was a cute chapter what did ya'll think? I'm trying to write a new chapter every day to get this story caught up to the current episodes in the show. I have about 1-3 chapters for every episode depending on the importance and the extra stuff I add. Don't forget to vote!
