"So I can't leave?" I turn back to face Sbonelo. "I'm afriad not, if you're really desperate to leave, call my mom. Her numbers are on the fridge door" He waves before leaving. I sigh walking down the hallway until I reach the door he disappeared through.

I knock twice before entering when there's no response. I look around but find it empty but a particular folder catches my eye. I bite the inside of my cheek while lifting it up.

Naledi Minentle Mxenge.

That's what's written on the front page in bold, large letters. I dryly swallow while going through it. It has everything about me, and by everything I mean EVERYTHING! "Snooping through my office, I see" I quickly turn around, ignoring the frantic beating of my heart. "Why do you have a file containing everything about me?" I clear my throat.

"Put that down" He ignores my question. "Why do you have this?!" I throw it at him. "For business purposes. Now get out of my office" His jaw ticks as he utters those words. "A-Are you stalking me?" I step closer to him. "Iyahlanya le ntombazane" He chuckles to himself. "I'm leaving and please stay away from me!" I snap, making my way towards the door.

I'm pulled back by a strong grip on my wrist. "Ukhuluma nami kanjalo?" His voice grows angrier. "Huh?" I frown. "I'm not going to repeat myself, sit down" He lets go of me.
"Nxn" I hiss, continuing with my journey to the door. This time, I'm pinned against the wall. "I said, sit down!" He raises his voice causing me to flinch.

"Mhmmhm" I choke out. He loosens his grip around my neck and I almost fall to the ground but he pulls me into him. I take in a shaky breath, trying not to shout at him.I find myself seated on his table as he applies some kind of ointment around my neck. "I'm sorry" He says before placing his lips against my forehead.

"Let go of me" I clear my throat as I get off of the table. He ignore me, with his gaze still on my neck. "I want to go home... Please" I desperately say. My phone rings before he can answer me.

Me:
Tata?

Tata:
Nkosazana kaTata, uphi? I've been calling you all night.

Me:
I-I slept over at Wandi's house. I'll be back before noon.

Tata:
Tell me when you're going to stay over the next time you go out. I was worried sick.

Me:
I'm sorry, I'll do so next time. Give mama a kiss for me, I love you. Bye.

Tata:
Uthandwa ndim, Nkosazana.

I hang up and turn back to face him. "Give me your phone" He orders, I shake my head no while tightly clutching onto it. "Naledi" He warns. "Don't break it" I sigh, handing it over to him. "When I call you, answer the phone" He hands it back to me. He's gone crazy now. "Mxm" I smack my lips together whilst taking my phone back.

"Can I go now?" He just grabs my hand and drags me down to his car. He places his hand on my thigh as he drives. I shrug it off, turning my body to the other side. He parks two houses away from my parent's one. "I'll call you" He turns off the ignition. "Don't bother, I won't answer" I blurt out. He scowls before turning to face me.

His hand confidently grips onto the back of my neck - not enough to hurt me. His soft lips come in contact with mine. I freeze for a moment before kissing him back. His hand travels to my waist, pulling me onto his lap. I wrap my arms around his neck with my lips still on his. Has other hand grazes my back before we both pull away, panting.

"Answer your phone when I call you, understood?" He repeats. "Mhmmhm" I nod, not trusting myself to say anything. "I'll come fetch you tonight" He clarifies. "I can't, I have plans" "With who?" His face is now stone cold. "I have a date with my boyfriend, we're celebrating our two year anniversary" I lie, but he doesn't need to know that.

"Your what?" His hold around my waist tightens. "My boyfriend" I smile. "I have to go" I reach for my phone but he smashes his lips against mine. I hiss when he bites my lower lip, "You're mine" He says whilst pulling away. "I belong to no one, excuse me. I have an interview to get to" I reach for the car door.

"Unenkani" He buries his head into my neck. "Please stop, this was a mistake. I have to go. Just stay away from me" I get out of the car and walk down to my house. I greet the security at the gate before entering the house. I head straight upstairs to shower and get ready for my interview. "Nkosazana yam" I immediately wrap my arms around my father. "Tata!"

"Unjani sthandwa sam?" We pull away. "I'm good. Is Ona back yet?" I sit down on the couch, opposite him. "I haven't seen her around today... Nkosazana" He calls out. "Tata" "Where were you?" My heart drops. "Entle? You're back?" Mama to the rescue. "Yeah" She sits down beside me. "Besisathetha Dineo marn" Here we go again. "It's okay"

"I'm leaving for the office" He gets up and walks out, leaving us in a midst of confusion. The doorbell rings right after he leaves. "Come in!" I yell. I sit comfortably, and stretch my legs. "Minentle? nguwe lowo, ubuyile?" I immediately smile, standing on my feet. "Hey Ma!" I beam, hugging her.

"You're excited to see me but yet you haven't even called me once since you left" She scoffs. "I'm sorry, I've been busy with school stuff, you know" I defend myself. "Vele you two can't see me sitting here?' Mama dramatically asks. "Usuqalile nawe Dineo, I was just reconnecting with my goddaughter nje" Ma'Lwethu rolls her eyes.

"Wena le goddaughter ya gagao" She scoffs. "Jealous I see, I come here to run away from my kids but nawe you're being exactly like them" She shakes her head in disapproval. I get a notification, turning all the attention to me. I akwardly pull out my phone and swipe it open, reading the text.

I'll come get you tommorow morning, no excuses. Good luck on your interview. Your lips taste amazing by the way.

Knowing exactly who it's coming from, I switch off my phone and keep my gaze on the floor, biting my lip to keep my smile from spreading. "Who is he?" Mama asks. "Mhm?" I quickly look up. "Who's making you blush like that?" She rephrases. "What makes you think it's a guy?"

"Is it not?'' she raises an eyebrow. "It's definitely a guy, who is he?" Ma'Lwethu asks this time. "It's no one. Just a telemarketing company" I brush it off. "Ha! A telemarketing company that makes you turn into a tomato? They must be selling gold to make you smile like that" They both burst out laughing.

"Bathong! No. It's not a guy" I defend once more. "We didn't say anything" Mama continues to laugh. I shake my head while walking up to my room. I shut the door and slump down on my bed, letting my smile loose. I giggle until I lose all the air in my lungs. I'm rolling around the bed with my feet in the air whilst thinking about earlier today.

Hhayi marn, Minnie. Get your head out of the gutter, you have an interview in two hours. Stop this! 'Naledi' I fold and continue giggling while kicking my feet in the air.

I bring my hand up, feeling my lips before squealing. 'Your lips taste amazing'. I throw my head back and stare into the ceiling. A huge grin graces my face and my eyes close.
