A Very Long Night.

Me and Melissa ended up unlinking our hands after getting odd looks from Soap. Alejandro had showed us where the cafeteria, Training room and where the bedrooms were. There were our callsigns put on the doors. Honestly felt impressed they went through so much effort, even if we were here for a short time.

Thankfully me and melissa were put together. once the mini-tour was over, me and melissa went straight to our room. I completely avoided The boys if they asked any questions to us, making melissa answer them. Once we entered the room, i immediately dropped all my bags on my bed and turned to her.

She was already looking at me.

"what the actual fuck" i say as i look at her with disbelief. i was scared shitless. "do you think they recognised me?" i say, a bunch more questions spewing out my mouth as i paced the room. she grabbed my shoulders and held me still.

"Y/N calm down" she says as she stops me from moving. "i'm sure they didnt." she says as she pulls me into a hug. i wrap my arms around her waist as she wraps her arms around my shoulders "why dont you take off this vest off, get into bed, have a nap, and i wake you up for dinner?" she suggests as we pull away from the hug. "we dont have a briefing until tomorrow" she says, cutting me off from asking if we had a meeting. she knew me so well.

"what about Cap? she'll want to know where i am." i say worried, i started chewing on my nails.

"ill explain to her the situation." she suggest, after a few minutes of trying to convince me, i eventually give in. me and Melissa spent the next 30 minutes semi-unpacking. keeping some stuff in our bags while placing the rest in the closet and draws provided.

after unpacking i started changing into some shorts and a black baggy shirt. i had told her to wake me for dinner. she nodded, giving me a kiss on the head as she hugged me. Once she left, i slipped into the bed i had originally claimed, getting comfortable, slowly drifting off to sleep.

it must of been a very undisturbed nap, as the next thing i knew, i was being shaken awake from my sleep. i groaned as i peeled my eyes open, looking at who was waking me up. I made immediate eye contact with melissa, she had an apologetic look on her face. i turned my eyes to behind her, making eye contact with Price.

i let out a small fuck before slowly sitting up. Melissa moved back, giving me room to sit up comfortably. i kept eye contact with price.

"Can i help you captain?" i ask in a tired voice. i felt Melissa's hand grab mine, giving it a gentle squeeze.

"Just wanted to make sure you were okay, Y/N" he says before giving me a soft smile, "we'd love to have you join us for dinner, we haven't seen you all day " he spoke with a soft tone.

i looked at melissa. i think she could tell i was freaking out. i nod as i look back at price. "yeah.. I'll be there" i say as i give him a quick smile.

he nodded at me before leaving the room, leaving me and Melissa alone. I immediately snap my head towards her. "Melissa! How could you let him in here?" I ask her, panic Lacing my voice.

"He overheard me talking to cap. I should have spoken quieter. I told him not to tell the others." She replies, defending herself. I stare at her with an unsure expression.

"are you sure? i... i cant just go out there with him knowing it was me." i say with an unsure tone. my breathing deep. she gives me a nod

"i promise you he hasn't told anyone." she says with a pleading expression.

i stayed silent as i listened to her. after a long moment, i nod and huff. "okay, fine. ill go ONLY if you stay with me the whole time." i state as i point a knowing finger at her.
